Lee's BBQ — Restaurant in Trinidad

Was in town for work. First choice was closed until 4 and my second and third choice were closed for the day (on a Tuesday). So i decided on BBQ. This place is way out of the way but I was hungry. Get there and it was pack, so I figured good food. I order the special, 7 wings and fries for 6.99. When i got my plate, they shorted me 2 wings. I advise the owner( guy running around in red shirt). He bought over 2 wings and apologized. The wings weren't even cook, cold in the middle. What I don't understand is that the owner came over many times, offer different sauces (which was just ketchup and cocktail sauce) but when they messed up he didn't offer anything to make up for the mistake. I didn't even make a big deal and I was respectful. He even ask how did we find out about this place. I told him, google and that he had good reviews. Not anymore, this was far from a BBQ and if I could go no stars I would. Hungry?...

This was my second time there. Not really impressed. Only stopped the second time because it was conveniently located where we were walking. Ordered the fried pickles because we really enjoyed them the first time but this time there was only 10 pickles in a large basket for $5 that’s insane! Some of the pickles were the size of a nickel. Very disappointed! The first visit we ordered the pickles and the basket was almost full. Hamburger taste like frozen patties not impressed. Table was sticky & dirty. I had my coffee in hand and asked if it was OK if I brought it in and the guy just stared at me and said that they don’t normally let people bring drinks in, but he saw us walking around outside, so it was OK, but I could tell he was a little disturbed. Never went into a fast food restaurant and they told me I couldn’t bring...

First time (also the last time) going to Lee’s BBQ and had a terrible experience with a waitress.

We were seated at a dirty table and spent 20 minutes waiting to get our drinks(It wasn’t busy at all and she just stood around behind the counter talking). When she finally brought the drinks out to us and another group that had just arrived, we told her we were ready to order. Instead of waiting on the table that had been sitting there for 20 minutes(us), she walked away without saying anything and took the order of the other group that just arrived. While waiting for her to come back we realized that she had given us drinks we hadn’t even ordered, so we decided it’d be best to leave.

The experience with this waitress came across as very rude and lazy, and I unfortunately won’t be giving this place a second chance...
