Starwood Cafe — Restaurant in Trophy Club

I stumbled upon this place when in this area for work for 2 weeks. From the moment I was greeted at the door, to the service I received during my dining visit, to the exit farewell, the overall service was impeccably AMAZING, warm and genuine! I had coffee, fresh squeezed Orange juice and the “For Mom Plate,” which is two buttermilk pancakes, an egg and bacon or sausage. They so graciously allowed me to substitute a small side of hash-browns instead of an egg, since I cannot eat eggs. My waitress, Gabriel, was warm and phenomenally attentive and detailed. She greeted me with a very genuine smile and warmth that you don’t get often enough in restaurants these days. If you try this place out, make sure to ask for Gabriel! You won’t regret it and she won’t disappoint. The coffee was a strong, but smooth House blend that left me wanting more than 1 cup, but I don’t dare unless my newly low tolerance for caffeine wants a jolt to my system compared to nitrous in a Hot Rod! The fresh squeezed Orange juice was one of the best I’ve had. Although I’m not a fan of pulp in store bought juice, I love pulp in fresh juice! This glass did not disappoint! The buttermilk pancakes were reminiscent of my Great Granny’s I grew up eating as a child. Fluffy, soft, pillowy, and magical! When a single item can transport you back to great, comforting memories of a lost loved one, it is nothing but magical! They even had whipped butter and warm syrup just like my Granny did. The bacon was a thick cut, and cooked to perfection. In my opinion, thick cut bacon is just extra unctuous! The hash-browns were simple but none the less just as amazing. They had a layer of crispy bits on both sides of the “flip” and some soft pleasant bits in between full of wonderful potato flavor. I was in Fort Worth on business, and some colleagues suggested Starwood Café, over the hotel food. They said the service and food were good; bonus it was close enough to the hotel to walk. Our first visit was the morning we arrived. There were 8 people in the group and everyone LOVED their meal. I had the chicken and waffles, as a Roscoe’s fan I felt it was a risk, but took the chance and was not disappointed. The portions were large, the chicken perfectly fried, and the waffle was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. My colleagues were all impressed with their orders, from the eggs to sandwiches to the lattes, and fresh OJ, everyone was happy and satisfied. In addition to great food, the service was friendly, and tolerant of a large group that had to discuss the menu in depth amongst us before ordering. Food came out quickly, hot and delicious. We returned 2 days later for lunch. If possible, it was even better the 2nd time. Another big group, and varied orders, all delivered quickly, correctly and with a smile. We all went on to recommend Starwood Café to all our colleagues who were to follow us. PRO TIP – their house hot sauce is PHENOMENAL! If I thought I could get it past TSA I would have taken a bottle home.

When I had to file my expense report, a month+ later I had misplaced the receipts. I called and spoke to the manager, Viri. She was so kind and and let me know they were closed for the day, but she would look in the next day. Sure enough shortly after 8am she called and was able to text me images. I was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere, which immediately made me feel at home. The restaurant is located in a great area, with plenty of parking and easy access from the highway. The interior of the restaurant is bright and cheerful, with comfortable seating and tasteful decor.

The food at Starwood Cafe was absolutely delicious. I had the pleasure of sampling several dishes, including their signature breakfast burrito and avocado toast. The ingredients were fresh, the portions were generous, and the flavors were outstanding. The coffee was also exceptional, with a bold and rich flavor that hit the spot.

The service at Starwood Cafe was friendly and efficient. The staff were knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations. They were attentive without being overbearing, and made sure that we had everything we needed throughout our meal.
