Incredible customer service and really nice seating/atmosphere. Iāll definitely come back here again. The drip coffee and cookie I got were great too and well presented. But one thing left me PROFUSELY confused. They have Turkish coffee on their menu and when I asked what they put it in they said a four ounce mug. As a Arab who drinks Turkish coffee this is actually absurd. It would be like handing someone a 4 ounce cup filled with espresso. Actually it would be worse since you would have coffee grounds that stay in a Turkish coffee cup. I was told it was the owner, a Lebanese guy named Ramiās idea to have this on the menu. Rami if you are out there, I hope you are okay. Because I have no idea what you are thinking. Iām not sure whatās going on here???? I need answers. Maybe itās just very weak Turkish coffee ???? So that people arenāt buzzed out of their minds drinking an octoshot of coffee? Great place but they need some Turkish coffee cups to serve their Turkish coffee out of. The baristas I spoke to were very nice and itās not their fault they are being asked to disrespect the tradition of Turkish coffee but they are ruining a traditional drink and if they serve it to people that have never had Turkish coffee before in 4 ounce cups. Non-Arabs are going to get the wrong idea about a very important cultural drink. Rami I hope you are okay out there sipping your 4 ounces of Turkish coffee at a time. Please tell me there has been some...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI spent some time at this charming coffee shop before heading back to Virginia to wrap up some area reviews and tackle some writing.
I opted for a decaf latte, and I know what you're thinkingāwho goes to a coffee shop for decaf? But hear me out! If their decaf is this good, just imagine how amazing their regular coffee must be! Honestly, the decaf was a delight. I also treated myself to a slice of their tiramisu, which pleasantly surprised meāit might just be the best Iāve ever had, and Iām a big tiramisu fan!
Their menu is quite impressive, with a focus on training the staff in various brewing techniques. I was amazed to find a drive-thru coffee shop that also serves authentic Turkish coffee! They offer classics like cortados and cappuccinos, along with trendy choices such as brown sugar shaken espresso and pistachio lattes. And I discovered unique drinks too, like an Icelandic Shot and a Spanish Latte!
The atmosphere is bright and modern, with a lovely seating area that includes comfy chairs with armrests. The large windows on two sides and the white walls create a wonderful, light-filled space. Plus, the northwestern exposure means beautiful sunsets without turning the place into a sauna!
Iām happy to report that itās fully wheelchair accessible, which is fantastic. The gender-neutral bathroom is...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI would be really surprised if this place lasted five years. I was in the area and had seen this place a few time recently and really wanted to try it. I skipped my usual Smoothy King to stop here for a coffee. Went through the drive through and was shocked at the prices. Still I was committed to try it. Ordered a pumpkin cold foam coffee and a croissant. They asked if I wanted chocolate croissant and I said sure. Asked if I wanted warmed up, again said yes.
Fifteen dollars for a coffee and croissant!! Outrageous. But whatever, still wanted to try it.
The cold foam coffee was 80 percent ice and the croissant was drizzled with chocolate so it was a mess to try to eat. Both tasted fine but not worth the price.
Sorry, just think this place is too over priced for what they offer especially in its current location. Looks nice thoughā¦but the overpriced food place that was there before looked nice...
