This establishment is a sham. The front desk staff are crooked. The motel itself is guilty of double billing credit cards. Front desk staff are often rude and inappropriate in conversations with guests divulging sensitive information about other guests. These practices are evidently encouraged by management as the manager is boorish and condescending in conversation. The desk staff inappropriately discuss the use of drugs with the guests. One desk clerk was talking to a Pastor about a guest and told the Pastor that the guest could cure herself if she stopped taking her medications and started smoking pot. Certain desk clerks are notorious for hiding information in the computer and permitting drug deals on the property. This person actually moved the drug dealer to another room to stave off a drug faid on the property. This is the type of behavior that the management condones to keep occupancy up on the property. I would not recommend this establishment to a dog, let alone another respectable person. Steer clear of this place unless you want to be either double billed, your information divulged or caught up in a drug raid. We, my wife and I had issues with this establishment and when we attempted to resolve this issue we were given the run-around and the desk clerk blocked all attempts to touch base with the manager. When we were able to finally contact the manager he get smart and told me to do what you got to do buddy. This is not an appropriate response to a guest trying to resolve an issue with management. Our attempts to go further up the chain were stymied by the staff. These are just a few of the problems linked to this property and the staff employed by the owner's son. From what I understand , and this is information from the desk clerk, that Matt, the manager, is skating on thin ice with his father and job due to these kinds of problems on this property. The fridge barely works and can't hold anything. The beds are uncomfortable. In the morning it's extremely loud, I had to get out of my room in the late afternoon, and they wanted me out earlier. I told them I needed just a bit more time to get my things but they were coming to my window, peeking in at me while I was packing up. They treated me like a criminal because I had to stay a bit later than the checkout time. About only an hour later than the checkout time! The maids were yelling at me to leave and 'go home'. Then finally when the car is packed I had to wait for my own ride to come get me with my dog, so I had to wait in the lobby. Its freezing cold outside. And mind you, my dog is very well behaved and this place is supposed to be pet friendly. But after an hour in the lobby, the woman at the counter came over to me, and started asking me very rude questions. "Why are you still here?" I told her that I was waiting for my ride. She kept asking what time, how long. And she had a rude attitude so I asked her if she was angry with me, she told me she didn't want her guests to have to walk by my dog! My dog was asleep, on the floor! I was far away from the door, everyone that came in had plently enough room to walk by. So i told her this is a pet friendly hotel, and Im not waiting out in the cold. She told me I needed to push my dog into the corner of the room if I needed to stay. Let look at check in I've been booking through hotels.com for a while now and I've never had an issue with a reservation not showing up after arriving to my destination. This guy proceeds to go back and forth with me about me not having a reservation when i standing there with the confirmation email showing. Its cold and we're tired from a 12+hour travel to this hotel. He then proceeds to tell me it will be 15mins until he could switch over the day to the new system to correct the reservation but says he cant do anything until 4am... Yes you read correctly but mind you it was 12am. We were only going to be there a few hours before check out. So instead of helping us out for the inconvenience he Upcharges us for the room rate seeing as we had no choice being the time... mind you I have checked in after 1am with a reservation through hotels.com at way better hotels and I have never had my reservation disappear out the blue once I've arrived. I still believe the guy was lying to me, because before anything he asks was I at the right hotel based on other people coming to the wrong hotel or something. We ended up payng more than the reservation was for. The room definitely was not worth it. They need to take those old Aš¤¬š¤¬ pictures online down. All the towels, wash rags etc need to be used as cleaning rags they had stains probably from blood or who knows what wash rags didn't match.. Good thing I BMO towel and wash cloths when traveling but overall they need a new house keeping staff because who ever is cleaning ain't it!! Then they had ROACHES! I WILL NEVER AGAIN!...
