I have reviewed almost 1000 establishments. I want to start this review off by saying I had HIGH hopes for this place. The best part about it was the atmosphere- colorful, Mexican flag- cool aesthetic. However- the food was not only below subpar, but the customer service was ridiculous/there was a young girl running the cash register while her dad (I’m assuming) just sat there and watched. I called, I ordered a munchwrap, 1 chorizo taco, & elote bowl. I asks for 2 small sides of nacho cheese to dunk my wrap and taco in (0.75 cent). I also ordered a guacamole- the guacamole did not come with chips (as every other place I can think of gives chips with their guacamole- cheap* reg flag*)
I paid almost FORTY dollars for a singular taco? A bowl of corn and a munch wrap???? I get home I see there is no plastic wear and this little girl charged me for TWO LARGE sides of nacho cheese? Maybe that’s why it was almost $40??? DO NOT GET FOOD FROM HERE!
They truly don’t care about their customers and it shows! I’ve actually never been so disgusted with a carryout spot.
PSA- It’s wonderful and beautiful to teach children how to work/run a business but not at the expense of losing customers and overcharging them. Will continue to inform my community of my awful experience here. $40!!! For literally a taco, corn, and a wrap? Then overcharged for huge containers of (not good) nacho cheese that I didn’t want?
An adult would have done the math like “oh this person wants sides of nacho cheese to dunk their 2 dunkable items in” …and it gets even worse..
I asked for another side of sauce since it was my first time trying this place- mind you this is AFTER they took my payment of $40. The little girl charged me a extra dollar for a HALF FILLED container of “spicy ranch” this place is a joke! They don’t value customers, they take money greedily.
Good marketing though cause online based off pics they had me hooked. And if it is ever good here- it’s not consistently. My experience proves that. Never...
Read moreWOW! Service 5/5, Food 5/5, Location, for me anyway 5/5. This was my first time ordering from Muncheez and I have to say I was beyond pleased with everything. The facility was spotless, the food was more than reasonably priced, especially for the portion sizes, which are substantial, and the service was full of respect and joy. You don't get places like this any more, and I wish them nothing but the highest success! I've always said the only restaurants that will survive that location are ones that people want to drive to, because there's nothing else around. Most places here have failed, but this is one of those places where it's worth heading to specifically for. Please go here, you will not be disappointed. I'm currently recommending Muncheez to everyone I know. Keep up the excellent work here everyone!
On a side note, and this was my fault for ordering carryout, and picking it up late, but if the fried ice cream came with a side of cinnamon sugared tortilla chips.... Perfection!
I'm sad to see that Edward Johnson gave this a 1 star review. This place deserves only 5 star reviews. Basically he has no idea what he's talking about, and if you listen to him you will be missing out on stellar options, food, and service. His bad experience was a fumbled rarity and does not reflect on this business whatsoever. If you look at his other reviews, he 1-2 stars everything he tries and with little to no explanation. My guy said "bun was bad" for a Five Guys review, and "needs to close" for a KFC review. I hope karma acquires this man's address and is relentless in his well deserved punishment. I hope you start a business and are plagued with endless 1-star reviews. Good day to you, you...
Read moreCustomer service was good. Food not so much. I saw it on Google with decent reviews so I tried it. It honestly wasn’t worth the $29 for 1 Birria taco, 1 steak taco, 6oz elote corn bowl, and 1 crunch wrap. Everything was bland & definitely not authentic. I was a little concerned when I saw the empty parking lot on a Friday at 7:30pm. The Birria taco shell wasn’t dipped in the red sauce, there wasn’t any red sauce to dip it in, the only option that nasty house salsa.. it was just meat & cheese inside,no onions & cilantro like normal Mexican restaurants ( I assume it’s another charge for that too), no seasoning on any of the meat. The chips taste store bought, the salsa was the worst of it all, it was watery & had not tomato flavor. The Munch (crunch)wraps are better at Taco Bell per my mom. Lol The cheese & flaming hot chips on the corn was very dry just like the corn. Overall it was just barely edible & overpriced. Don’t believe the...
