I tried the 1/2 sandwich/ soup chicken tortilla option and it was tasty. My daughter did a 1/2 sandwich/ 1/2 spud[ it came out as a whole medium sized tater :) ] combo. I believe our cashier was still learning the machine and had to punch the orders in 3 different times, ( I made no changes myself to the original order) and still my daughter's sandwich came out a chicken club on whole wheat which is very different than the grilled chicken on crescent roll that was ordered . The tea was good but then again I love chick-fil-a, milos, and zaxby's so the best cup of sweet tea is a challenge in the South. This place prides themselves on it though as a whole wall along the booth seating area is dedicated to advertising/celebrating their tea. You file in straight on which can leave some folks outside a while if crowded. And yes like any restaurant since covid you have to compete as an inside customer with both, drive thru and app orders. They move right along though. It was clean and not too noisy. The staff were friendly and brought our meal and refills to us. We arrived and enjoyed a late lunch so there were still 1/2 dozen or so lunch customers finishing up and a steady stream of Troy students ordering and quickly eating. The customers overall were of young or older ages, I saw no young families or children. $28.42 for both choose 2 specials plus drinks, and a coffee...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent on 11/1/22 at 730p and spent $70+ on food, no au jus for our French dips, went inside to obtain this sauce, and the guy in the kitchen just flat out didn't want to give us any , cashier asked him for some and he gave her a tiny clear cup of it, and she said I don't think you understand I need more than that...he said "that's enough" clear as day, we're buying food here as other customers, making your paycheck, and you have the audacity to say we cannot have more than a couple teaspoons of sauce?? My man you have a lot to learn if you're ever gonna make it in the food business, won't be spending another dime in that place, not in Troy anyway. Someone needs to retrain this "cook" or y'all are gonna lose way more business than just mine I can assure you! Food was mediocre but service was horrendous, the cashier was great but the guy in the back needs to stop hiding back there and talking smack. Hopefully someone will see this and visit this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis was the first time I had been to Mc Alister's Deli. This one is in a two called Troy Alabama. I was visiting family in this area and I saw t mobile Tuesday gave away a free meal. So I stopped in to try it. First off, the place was clean and looked like a nice restaurant. Staff was professional and polite. Did a very good job.
I ordered the club with a tomato cucumber waited. And got a sweet tea Didn't have a long wait. Yo, get my order.
The teas were good for a sweet tea, one of the best I had but not the best. But good. The salad was good for it just being onion tomato and cucumbers. The club had turkey bacon and cheese, it was very good.
I do recommend trying McAllister's at least once . I will be back when I am near one. Thank you to the staff polite respectful and did an amazing job. 5 stars out of 5 For food service and cleanliness of...
