Waffle House — Restaurant in Troy

Stopped in at 8pm. 6 employees no other customers. Location is covered in dust dirt and mold. Probably the worst waffle house I've ever been to, hygenically speaking. Waited 5 minutes before anyone came to our table, she gave us silverware and told us someone else would be with us. The cook turned her around and told her to get our drink order. Ordered coffee and water. She empties the old coffee pot into my cup, when addressed about the very old coffee, she walked to the pot and hit start... literally started a new pot thru old grounds. When called out about it. She rolled her eyes and another server made it right. Ordered an omelet and chili. Cook came out and delivered the omelet. Chili came after the omelet and was hardly warm. I was ushered out from a locked door at 825p, so all the employees could sit at the bar and eat (likely free food) while counting tips. To sit there in bright lights well before the 9pm closing sign is such disrespect. People were pulling in as I left, ones who would likely be turned around. I travel regularly from FL to GA and pass by this location often, this is my first and last time stopping here. In between the awful service, old coffee, and disgusting atmosphere, no way will I ever return. This location has AWFUL manager written...

Had a great experience at first. We had a party of 4 adults, a kiddo, and an infant. 3 of the 4 adults had finished along with the kiddo. The last adult, happened to be my husband, who on his last bite looked blankly into his Texas Cheesesteak Hashbrown bowl. I asked what was wrong after his blank stare turned into disgust. He swipped the bottom of his grease filled bowl and pulled out what seemed to be a flea. Now I am not here to bash about the grease... I knew well aware I chose to eat at the "smother-covered-and-drenched with grease capital of the USA". Immediately after pulling out of the parking lot and entering onto 231, I began to have the worst stomach pains along with nausea. I made it to the adjacent Circle K where I was met with the uttermost explosive diarrhea. Little did I know, the other couple who went straight back to there home, the female also was met with diarrhea and nausea. She and I had these bouts all night long and even into the next day.

Not saying don't eat there. But be mindful, this Awful-Waffle is like...

Let's start with walk in... No friendly greeting just told we would get a table in a minute. A table got up, cashed out and left. Instead of anyone going and cleaning that table so we be seated, it sat there till the assigned waitress cleaned it (no teamwork). When the order was taken my husband ordered first, my son said I want that same order, I ordered something different. Mine and my son's food came out, when she brought my husbands it was totally different and then told him he did order chicken but my son got the steak as they both ordered. No friendly words as we departed either. Now cleanliness: hair, dirt, and grease was all the way down the window sill and grates in the ceiling was full of dust. The healthscore rating for most restaurants is posted to where you can see them, I didn't see one in plain view for this one. Bad choice...
