Coffeebar Bakery — Restaurant in Truckee

This place is fantastic! My husband and I stopped in this morning to grab a cup of coffee and some breakfast on our way out of Tahoe. I had read good reviews and wanted to give them a try. We were definitely not disappointed! From the time we walked in the staff was attentive, friendly and helpful. The first thing we saw were the 2 cases of a huge variety of pastries and sweets and the hard task of choosing just a couple of items began. We ended up with a piece of coffee cake and a dozen pumpkin donut holes. I also ordered an iced honey almond latte with almond milk. If you need a pastry suggestion, get the coffee cake! Blueberry and cinnamon streusel combined in a moist and flavorful combination that was a delightful breakfast treat. Highly recommend. My husband was delighted with his pumpkin donut holes, though they are actually more like mini-muffins. He thought they were super tasty. The iced latte was good and I was very pleased to have dairy free options. It wasn’t super flavorful (I really couldn’t taste either the honey or the almond) but it was still yummy. I came there for the coffee. I'm not from truckee just visiting. Coffee bar came up on Google map. I just went in for the coffee. They have good looking, pastries there. Sometimes they have day-old pastries there for two dollars. I'll grab all of those but I will never ever get a coffee there again And I will never order 12 donut holes, a cinnamon roll and a paper cup coffee for $41. I will never do that with no coffee place ever in my life. I thought Starbucks was expensive. At least I can stand the coffee at Starbucks this place should not be called coffee bar not at all they're pastries at two dollars for Day old are I assume very good because I didn't even eat them I gave them to the Rangers at my resort I was staying at. New location right next door to the old one everything inside is brand new. The customer service is excellent the staff is very friendly. They've added a few new things to the menu. There's going to be donuts on the weekends.The pastries are amazing I went in for a coffee the atmosphere is great. I like the Cafe style setting I was greeted very quickly they were very friendly the barista got my coffee right away and it was hot and I enjoyed the flavor of the roast. I'll definitely be back.
