I love stopping here to get a quick egg and cheese biscuit for breakfast in the mornings. One of the best things about this location, besides being so close to my home, is their breakfast hours. 10:30 am on the weekdays and 11 am on weekends. I have plenty of time to run and grab breakfast, even if I'm being a little lazy that day. My only complaint is that the past few times we've eaten inside this location, there has been something that happened every single time. First, it was the gravy biscuit on the tray and somehow forgetting the rest of the order. So, that gravy biscuit was cold as ice. We called a manager over, an older gentleman, whom we thought would take care of the situation, but he just said "sorry" and walked off. Granted, he had something major happening in the kitchen, but it would have been nice if he had replaced the biscuits and gravy, so it was hot. Or the breakfast for both of us, so we both did not end up with cold breakfasts. I forgot to mention that one of the biscuits was completely wrong. No worries, one of situation. It's aggravating, but not a reason to not go back. Then, it was a second trip, maybe 3 weeks later....a female manager and an all male crew were fighting with each other. She was screaming at the kitchen and cooks, while the cashier was just plain rude. No one was asking for breakfast and a show. But, the hostility and tension were palpable. The cashier was sarcastic and rude. Not just to customers but the kitchen staff as well. The manager said things that I can not put into this review. We have not gone back to this location since this experience. I feel like some drastic actions need to happen. It's busy, but no one should be spoken to like that, not if you're in management. I'm not picky, and maybe I'm a little messy as I watched the entirety of the drama unfold. But, I felt horrible for the kitchen crew. No one working that hard should be spoken to like the way they were that day. The biscuits are flaky and moist, and they have an excellent biscuit maker here. The cooks did the best they could under the conditions, but the food was prepared well. I have to give them credit. They stuffed it down and did the damn thing. I hope they all haven't quit by the time I do return. It always looks busy when I pass, but not like it did before. The female manager had short, blonde hair and tattoos and was very rude. She sat in the office when she wasn't screaming at folks. Anyway, this has not been a one of situation, and we have not returned even though it's convenient. I just want breakfast, not to watch people be screamed at or talked down to....it kind of ruins the whole experience of starting your day. A smile would have been nice. Thank you, come again....would have been the words spoken or...
Read moreThis is really a review so that the owners can improve. Here’s how it went. I ordered two cheeseburger kids meals both ketchup only, and a chicken finger snack with ranch. The Lady on the speaker was courteous. I pulled around. When I got to the window, the young lady took my card, as she was discussing an order with someone in the back…I can’t remember if she acknowledged me, because of the cute orange underwear that distracted me from the young man walking by. I mean…not just saggy pants…but his whole gluteal area of underwear was right there…I think I saw his thigh gap from the back.,. Anyhoo…the young lady did ask if I wanted a drink carrier, and I got one. A different guy brought my food as the manager scolded him about something. He Literally handed me the bag and continued discussion with the manager. So…as this was none of my business, I just got the order and drove home. One burger (ketchup only) had Mayo and onions…and an unhappy kid, which was delightful to deal with after my 12hr shift. One kid did get ketchup only…as requested…that’s where the two stars came from. 3rd kid got some really really dry old chicken fingers with ZERO ranch dressing to at least make the trip down the gullet a little more tolerable. This review should address management style…problems should not be addressed in front of customers, it’s distracting, and orders get jacked. I don’t want to see someone pulling up their pants if they’re handling my food. I work in healthcare, and not much grosses me out, but…you pull up that waistband after you poop…and then you pull it up right before you touch my child’s food bag…it’s kinda off putting. (But kudos for the cute boxers). Quality control…when the chicken tenders are off colored and feel brick like…they probably taste about as good. You’re a very busy restaurant I have faith that you can do better. I’ve worked in food service before healthcare…. I believe in you. I’ll be back, and shall review future...
Read moreGreat dining experience. I'm not a fried chicken eater but at one place, Jack's. Their chicken is wonderful. Their store is clean inside and out. Their bathroom was clean and well stocked. I got the three piece chicken dinner with Mashed potatoes & gravy and green beans. I also ordered 2 extra chicken fingers. The chicken came up in about a minute. It was too hot to eat when I got it. The Mashed potatoes and gravy were hot thick and hearty. The green beans were plenty hot too. They had big pieces of ham or side meat with them. There were not just out of the can either. Thry had some spicing added and tasted like a mom had cooked them her special way. The chicken pieces were large and fresh. The batter made a nice crust. The chicken was done to the bone and was moist throughout. It was excellent. The chicken fingers were large and well cooked also. They were crispy. I had the BBQ sauce and a Comeback sauce. I dipped the chicken fingers and some of the chicken pieces in the sauces. This was a great combination. My biscuit was used to sop up some of the gravy from the potatoes.
All in all this was a wonderful meal. The cashier was helpful and made sure I got my rewards points. She had one of the guys bring my dinner to me due to me being on an oxygen generator and having a tough time with the loaded tray. My wife and I eat at one of about 5 Jack's weekly. We enjoy the varied menu. And like the staff at each of them. We will...
