This place must be PAAAACKED for dinner on most nights and standing room only on the weekends. The food and service here were off the charts in all aspects! Fortunately for me, I didn't make it until 2p for lunch and missed the crowds. Very friendly service and she helped me pick out the chef's best dishes. My app was a dish of OH MY GOD THIS IS DELICIOUS sweet potato rounds with spectacular toppings and I completely inhaled it. Main entrée was a Blackberry and walnut salad with wood-grilled chicken. Inhaled that one, too. It was VERY large and the chicken by itself would have been a meal. If you are in Tryon, Huckleberry's needs to be on your list. Do not miss this place! The level of quality and commitment to service here is off the charts for most small businesses and nearly unheard of in small towns. If I lived within range, I'd buy stock in Huckleberry's!

So great to see Huckleberrys back in this innovative form where they are sharing a building with Chef Sharone called "Tastefully Curated" and allows them to share the costs which is huge and very foreward thinking of them! We got to see the Huckleberrys longtime employees again and enjoy a taste of their food again. When we moved to Tryon 5 years ago, their restaurant was the first we had eaten at in the area and we have missed them. Today, we sat outside and enjoyed a snack of smoked salmon deviled eggs and I had a glass of my favorire Pacific Rim Sweet Reisling which i had had a Huckleberrys years ago upon their recommendation & gotten hooked on! Deviled eggs were perfect! Looking forward to taking part in their chef events!

We sat outdoors in the patio/bar area. Very unique and creative dinner and drink menu. My wife got the shrimp/sushi dish and loved it (not raw, just presented like sushi). I got the spinach salad with watermelon. It was good but the taste combo wasn't great. The service provided by Jamie was excellent. The inside is small and less appointed than one would expect after experiencing the outside. There was also good live music outside on the patio. Highly recommend for a night out in Tryon, NC. We went back on a Saturday night. We moved inside to eat as the band was way too loud for conversation. The service slowed as it got busier. Wasn't quite 5 star.

If I could give this place a half a star I would. I worked here for 4 days last week. Wednesday Thursday Friday and Sunday. Well I get a text this afternoon from them and it was very rude saying they don’t need me no more. I did prep work. Well not only that your sodas come from the cans drinks, some of the food is cooked in the microwave, they don’t have no space in the kitchen area, they don’t have a walk in cooler or freezer, they have roaches and flys. The flies land on the food there preping or waiting to go out. The roaches are were the dishwasher is. And they don’t wear gloves but they have them but don’t wear them. They don’t wear hair nets. It’s a small space In the back. They eat some of the food like the muffins they workers in the back will eat them at times. They use the same wrap for row beef and fish for like your banana bread and other foods. They don’t wash there hands that offend. I would not eat here or work here. They have a snotty attitudes. From my google review and its all true. plus they are slow at service when busy and its just a lot that they do that is ageist health regulations. I know what the Health Code because i was in culinary arts and i have my Serve Safe certification. All i got to say is if you eat here eat at your on risk. because like i said they use the same saran rap for row burgers and use it on the fish and then they use it for like cheese and banana bread. so yea i would stay clear of this place. I would not waste my money here at all. And I'm not joking when i said that the flies land on the food that is being prepped and waiting to go...

Nice atmosphere but overpriced for the quality of food. Location is great, have live music, outdoor pet-friendly seating...these are the biggest positives we noticed. We all (Me, wife, son) ordered burgers; I got their signature(w/ an egg), wife got fried pimento cheese burger and son (5 yr old) got the kids burger, all with fries. We asked for all three burgers to be cooked medium. The wait was about 20 min for us to get our food. The burgers arrived in square PAPER plates with PACKETS of condiments on the side; this made it feel cheap. Mind you the burgers are over $11...

The burgers had good-sized patties, small amount of toppings(in proportion) and a cheap bun(it says brioche but it tasted like any cheap burger bun, with a bitter after-taste). Only my wife's burger was cooked medium. Mine was charred a bit too much. The toppings were basic except for using spring mix instead of lettuce and "bread & butter" pickles (which were NOT good).

The fries were good, wasn't able to taste the beer in the "beer battered fries" but were enjoyable. The sweet potato fries were good.

Conclusion: Good atmosphere, okay customer service, but OVERPRICED food. The presentation was cheap, the food was okay but not worth the...

Took 15 minutes for our order to be taken even though the restaurant was slow, the servers just kept passing us by. Finally our order was taken and we then waited another 25 minutes for our food, in which time we saw one other table (who had been waiting for their food since we got there) walk out in disgust and anger, and I'm pretty sure another table walked out without paying (not totally sure about this one) because they got tired of waiting for their check to be picked up. Finally got our food and the portions were tiny, especially considering the price. The food was good, but we both left still hungry because there wasn't anywhere near enough of it. Then it took forever to get our checks and even longer to get them picked up. They had us fill out surveys which leads me to believe issues are very common here. In conclusion, service is inept to say the least (I have been a waitress for several years and done customer service even longer so normally I'm very forgiving, but this was ridiculous and there was no excuse for it with the restaurant being as empty as it was. The staff desperately needs adequate training, and either the price or the portions need to...
