On December 17th I pulled into the drive thru to purchase 17, $10 gift certificates for our family Christmas party. I was welcomed by a young man at the window, who began helping me. As he was helping me, a woman employee came over and said "are you kidding me", and then reprimanded the young man in front of me, belittling him. I felt sorry for him and then she turned to me complaining about the the back up of cars I was causing and said, "do you really want 17 cards" and she wanted to know if I was paying cash because they would not take a card because they had been frauded before. She made me feel as if I was doing something wrong, as I pulled away I was thinking, I thought debit was same as cash? So I pulled over and tried calling the DQ to ask the question but got know answer. I realize this is a busy time of year but I feel when your in the customer service, employees need to be more professional. The woman employee could of simply asked me to pull around to the other window, politely tell me about their policy and then (tell the young man what she needed to say in a professional manner in private.) Funny thing is, I had bought several cards the year before at Christmas, same DQ at the 1st window and used a card. I won't be going back and I encourage...
Read moreI have never been more mad at a customer service person in my entire life. We were ordering ice cream through the drive through on 10/11 somewhere between 8:10pm and 8:15pm and the girl taking our order didn’t understand what we said so she rudely said “WHAT” in a super annoyed voice and when I repeated it for my fiancé she rolled her eyes, looked me dead in the face and said “isn’t that what he just said” also in a extremely rude voice. Then she said the total and we paid. We ended up leaving and not even getting the ice cream we ordered because she was so rude and we were so upset. We called the store after but they didn’t answer so we weren’t able to find out what her name is. All we know is she was wearing a JTED jacket, had glasses, and had dark hair. We ended up driving to the other Dairy Queen on golf links and reordering and paying again for it. Thankfully the employees at the golf links and pantano location were great. I am so disappointed with the customer service we got tonight. We live close to this one so this is our regular location but from now on we will be driving a little further to make sure we...
Read moreThe single worst Diary Queen experience. Not only was the cashier rude, but our blizzards appeared to be intentionally poorly made. I got 1 small french silk pie blizzard, 1 small cookie dough blizzard, and a medium cheesecake/"cold fudge" blizzard. We got home and in the light and realized we had next to none of the toppings we requested (there were literally 4 total pieces of cheesecake in my medium blizzard) and they were all mixed in right on top; there was nothing mixed even to the middle of any of the blizzards. This may sound silly or petty but it's NOT that hard to blend it in or add a fair amount of toppings. Huge letdown all-around. Try Baskin Robins or Cold...
