Saguaro Christian Church — Attraction in Tucson

This review is for SICP (saguaro infant care and preschool) which is on the church’s premises. SICP has to be the best daycare on East Tucson. The director- Tanima, her right hand- Rosana, and the teachers are beyond AMAZING. My child has been with SICP from infant- preschool and we have been amazed with the quality of care. My little had a speech delay and they helped my little gain confidence with communicating, putting sentences together, and saying new words! It’s truly amazing how much my little has strived with the help of their teachers. A big shout out goes to Melissa, their preschool teacher. A wonderful home where all are truly welcome. As a lesbian couple we have not felt welcome in some churches, but we have felt totally welcomed into the fold here, loved as Jesus taught us to love all. Here at Saguaro Christian Church, Jesus' teachings are truly lived out, both in word and in action. I am continually struck by the love and grace of this community, and the focus on service for the greater community. The ministers are outstanding. I have visited SCC on many occasions. Each time I have found the staff and congregation very warm and welcoming. The ministerial staff is excellent and offers inspiring messages while sharing the love of God. I have also noticed that SCC has a number of ministries such as the food bank, the backpack ministry, the mental health support group along with numerous others.
