Read moreThis is an old school Denny's location, art deco style inside and out, & that's the only good thing about the building itself. Mold across 60% of the pealing painted ceiling. Most of the window trim is either falling off or so cheaply repaired that water stains & more mold can be seen on the majority of the window openings. Our corner wrap around booth was in a state somewhere between falling apart & unusable. The dish rag used to wipe off our table was so sticky that the table surface was sticker and dirtier after the cleaning (had to peel the empty jelly\jam container off it's surface @ one point)! But to be fair our server did her utmost to make our dining experience as pleasant as humanly possible (even apoplectic about our spotty\dirty silverware which she didn't clean herself but was so embarrassed that she rushed to bring new ones without us first bringing them to her attention). Her outright professionalism and attention to detail didn't fully make up for that dilapidated stayed out of the restaurant but at least allowing us to feel like our patronage was appreciated by her. So to our nameless servicewoman thank you for taking pride in your work, it did not go unnoticed hence the 35% tip we left for her! so if you cannot eat at a moldy dirty restaurant don't go here but if you would like good service with people who take pride in their work go to this Denny's for that level of...
Dude this is the coolest Denny's ever. The outside of the place is really amazing it's I'm pretty sure used to be a different old Diner that has been there for a while I don't know maybe it's always been at Denny's but anyway it has the feel and look of an old Diner from the 50s. And the service is really friendly. The food of course is just your standard Denny's food not the best not the worst thing you ever had. I decided to get a regular dinner rather than ordering my usual breakfast type food, to be honest I cannot even remember what I ordered but I know that I enjoyed it. And even brought some home and ate it again later. My man had the chicken fried steak and he would not recommend it but again we were more there for the ambiance and fun and he enjoyed his mashed potatoes and gravy and corn and salad much more. Okay I just looked at the list down there and I'm pretty sure it was the Santa Fe skillet that I got. Now I remember the vegetables were not so great but the chicken in the meal was really good I was not too happy with the sauce maybe it wasn't the Santa Fe skillet cuz I think there was some kind of a teriyaki sauce on the thing that I got but it definitely was something on a skillet that was sizzling when it came to the table and that was really fun. Oh and the garlic bread that came with both meals was also really tasty and I too really enjoyed my...
Read moreCurrently eating here. First, this place is freezing. Its 57 outside, weve been working outside for over 6 hours, and its colder in here. Asked the waiter if the air was on, he said yes it was. At 5 in the morning. He said he liked the cold so he was cool.
When we got our coffee it tasted like butt. We go to a lot of dennys and ihops, so we know what to expect, but this coffee was terrible. So my coworker raised his mug towarda our server and said excuse me, so this other lady server behind us, working with other customers, said in a very rude snotty tone, Do you NEEED something sir? He told her the coffee tasted bad, hed like a fresh cup, she said, Whatd you do to it?
Got another cup and brought it to him and said, Theres a fresh cup, theyll all be fresh cups, just for YOU. Then going around telling everyone how sick she is and how she didnt want to be here.
Like i said, we go to dennys or ihop 2-3 times a week when we get late night jobs, and this is by far the crappiest one ive been in. She wasnt wearing a name tag, but the lady with the mole on her face, she needs to be gone. Her attitude was terrible, she was rude and ridiculously unprofessional, even for a late night...
