Y’all need to try La Estrella Bakery next time you’re in Tucson!! @laestrella_tucson is a family owned bakery that has been here for over 30 years and have definitely perfected their craft. One thing I love about them is how involved they are in the community - they often hold tours for local schools so they can share their Mexican culture! And they have seriously some of the best pastries, try the donuts when you visit ❤️‍🔥 #mexicanbakery #tucson #tucsonlocal #pastries #eatlocalaz #explorearizona

We visited around five different coffee shops in Tcson during our recent trip from Los Angeles, and La Estrella was by far our favorite. The owners were extremely gracious and sweet, taking more time than needed to walk us through their pastry selection. They then gave us a pastry on the house! And took the time to recommend their favorite local spots in Tucson to try on our visit. I was in love with their cactus cookie, it was so good without being overly sweet. And the cold brew is wonderful. Absolutely will stop in every time i’m in Tucson. Until next time La Estrella!

So awesome! My son took me here said it was the best and I had to get some of the pastries before I left back home to Florida. So I bought pastries and tortillas. Yes fresh tortillas. He was so dang right these are awesome pastries. We ate them on our trip back to the East coast. I enjoyed the flavor. My younger son absolutely loved all the different ones, we shared so we could experience each different kind and what they tasted like. Thank you for making our taste buds happy.

Normally go and buy once a year or once every 2-3 years because it's so far from Us. We went two days ago to buy pastries. As of yesterday the pastries are hard and inedible. The bakery does not list the cost for each pastry and you somewhat feel foolish asking the price on each pastry and how will a person remember at checkout for a dozen ? The receipt they provide has no amounts for each pastry it's only a transaction receipt so they can charge whatever they darn want to charge a person. So future customers be nice. The ladies do not use hair nets!!! Which brings me to my one star review which would be zero stars but it does not allow . I was trying to figure how to eat a hard pastry earlier, a pastry they call concha , a mini concha and I noticed a long back hair embedded in the pastry. So...the hair was cooked inside the long pastry. 🤢🤮 since the bakery is far away it will be more expensive to drive up there and get my complaint and probably be told they cant do anything about it vs just placing a review, hopefully I can download the picture. Gas prices are to high to drive back there . This is so uncalled for. This is nasty. Be careful customers, yes this was the it bakery when I was younger and many years back, but now it's all new employees, it's different. Le Caves Bakery on 22nd street is super clean, but they always sell out fast and close too early. I dont know how to download the picture of the hair sticking out of pastry, which is...

Estrellas Bakery you are not the best in town. I'll invest my money in a small business that respects all and owns a mistake. My daughter wanted to run in and get the tortillas so i wouldn't have to take the babies down. They skipped my daughter who was in line waiting to pay for 15 min or longer. I got off the car with the babies to see what's so long she said they kept taking people over her. So that visit was the last visit I'll ever make to them. This wasn't the first time I have had an issue with them. I will never come here again they get no stars if I could. Respect paying customers. I found a fly in between my tortillas one time. Ewww I'm mentally grossed out by the though of eating a fly. These women always have an attitude no matter what time of the day. They are a small business and you want to give them the benefit...

I've been going here since I was a kid. They have the best vegan donuts and I say that after travelling to vegan "foodie" hotspots all over the country that have the likes of Voodoo Donuts, etc. They don't have a huge selection of vegan donuts, in fact, their sugared and glazed may be the only vegan options and they are all I've ever tried but as I get older I realize that quality over variety is more important to me and those two donuts are the best I've had in my life. I THINK they use potato flour but I honestly have no idea. They are chewy and more dense than the airy, oily donuts from other places. One is more than enough. The hardworking staff at the main location have always been nice to me. It's nice they opened up a satellite location a bit...
