Came out here to eat the other night with my better half, as we’ve done a couple dozen times during the pandemic, because we are big believers in supporting small business and generally don’t need a chain restaurants. Order the same thing we always order, the mama’s original with no green peppers and no onions on half as my better half doesn’t like them. The kid taking the order really struggled so I repeated it three times. I also ordered an order of garlic knots, which are generally very tasty
Much to my chagrin, 20 minutes later the garlic knots come out and I could tell they were over cooked on the top and an interesting shade of black on the bottom, I didn’t even attempt to taste one. Couple of minutes after that the pizza is ready and I went to pick it up and it was half mama‘s original and on the other half was cheese onions and green peppers and that’s it
I walked up to the counter with the pizza and garlic knots and told the kid the garlic knots are burnt and the pizza isn’t even close to what we ordered and I would just like a refund because I didn’t want to wait another 30 minutes. A “manager“ came out and began to chastise me and blame me for the kid taking the order down wrong, like it’s my fault and I told him I’m not mad but don’t sit here and try to blame me, I just want a refund and I just wanna leave.
He pressing buttons on the screen and printed out a little receipt thing and said here you go, I laughed and told him that’s not a refund, I would like a refund and then he printed out a full size ticket, receipt looking thing, with void all over it. I knew that wasn’t a refund but at this point I was very upset and was afraid I was going to say something rude. So I left.
Not surprisingly five or six days later, still no refund, I’ll be filing a charge back on my credit card Monday morning. In confidence staff and blame you when they make a mistake and then steal your money. Never again guys, I’ll never darken your door. You’re welcome for all the support...
Read moreI want to start off by saying that my family and I are what I consider to be regulars. My parents order our family dinner from here almost weekly, spending between $45-55 on average. The pizza, salad, and appetizers usually are great. This Saturday, though, the family pizza we ordered from the Houghton location was doughy in the center and didn't seem fully cooked. No biggie, things happen. My wife and I took it back and asked that it be cooked a little longer. The employees were understanding, the green shirted supervisor not so much. I want to be clear, they did cook the pizza longer, as requested, for which I am grateful. We would continue to give this establishment our business if it ended there. The supervisor argued with us, repeatedly saying that this is how they cook pizza (usually it's not) that the pizza was not doughy (it was) and that it was cooked perfectly (it definitely wasn't). He continued to state this seven minutes later, giving us the recooked pizza back. He has a right to his opinion, just as I--the customer--have a right to mine. To argue with me and tell me that my opinion is wrong and his is right is unbecoming of a supervisor that is supposed to be dealing in customer service. We didn't ask for a refund (nor was one offered). We didn't request a new pizza (which also was not offered). What we did receive was a very poor customer experience. I am truly sorry that we will have to find another place for our weekend dinner, hopefully one that in the future doesn't leave as sour a taste...
Read moreI want to start by saying that this place has been one of our favorites for a while. Back when they cared and were a hype we used to come here and eat in the patio, kids used to play giant jenga or corn hole and we just hung out long after our pizza had been eaten. It was a great place. However I have seen the decline in service, in some caring for the appearance and or customer service. I’m sad to say it’s probably the last time we come by here. I called to order a large pepperoni and meatballs pizza, a medium Hawaiian pizza and a small cheese. I know times are hard and inflation is crazy. My total was 70.00 for these 3 pizzas. I enjoy them so I didn’t mind paying the price for the pizzas. However when I called I put a timer of 45 minutes which is what the lady said it will take. I was there 5 minutes before and my pizza was cold. The box was not hot to the touch as soon as I got it. If you aren’t busy and will make my pizza sooner, can you please tell me? OR call me to let me know my pizza is ready for pick up??? I had to reheat it when I got home 👎🏼
I added some ingredients to the pizzas and paid around $2.00 per topping. Again I know times are hard but I’m paying for it. I’m not asking you to hook me up. Could there be a bit more of pepperoni? Cheese? Like omg!! It was sad looking. Again, I rather go to Costco and get 3 large pizzas for 30.00 instead of these sad ones for $70.00… sorry but won’t be back. And for other customers don’t be cheap with the...
