Terrible new interior. I have been going to this McDonald's since it was built. It has had 3 major interior revisions. The original one was very bright and social and had a corner with a TV. It would be rated five stars. Then it went to a "daktari" interior with strange statues and it was quite dark, but still nice to sit in a corner. The 3rd renovation reminds me of the waiting room of a German train station from the seventies. The layout is very dated and very unfriendly as if your presence is really not desired. There is a huge open space with no seating and one of the cash registers is blocked by a structural column. Part of the play area has been converted to seating but access is so difficult that I'm surprised its not a fire code violation. Obviously the architect or drafter who drew up this layout was not very competent. I watched the remodeling process, and it was haphazard as if the contractor had never done this kind of work before. Some of the work in progress, especially the roof, was done in an unsafe manner. The overall rework of the interior and exterior of the building is very very shoddy with numerous misaligned parts, dents, loose kick panels and strange partitions that looked like they were found in an office furniture surplus store. The real problem with McDonalds is the tasteless food, not the interior of the stores. This store has many employees who have worked there for a long time. Read moreService wash quick and very polite inspite of a customer from Drive thru walking in claiming he only received 4 out of 8 burgers he had just purchased. When the attending Drive thru employee assured her manager she was positive she'd given the customer his complete order and asked for his receipt, he claimed not being given one. She didn't lose her professionalism but was visibly perturbed and went ahead and recorded into the register another order of 4 hot and spicy burgers went into the back to expedite that order. I waited no more than 1 minute tops before she attended me from her Drive thru post as did neither the manager who wasn't really doing much of anything nor another junior employee who was on her cell phone standing around with said manager basically doing much the same thing. I give the more senior employee kudos for getting my 2 separate orders correct in a quick manner. She also reminded me twice to fill out the survey online on both my "separate orders" receipts so that I would claim a "buy one get one free" benefit for either a breakfast or lunch menu item. She started asking me why I just didn't purchase both orders on one ticket (because she was still distraught from the prior customer who was being a bit rude claiming had she done her job properly earlier at drive-thru and gotten his 8 burger order correct blah blah...." she understood and took a deep breathe at which I told her she was a good employee and not to listen to the garbage the jerk that had just left with 4 extra burgers (my opinion) at which point she smiled. The people who work here are some of the rudest, and most airheaded people I have ever met, I gave them 3 chances on 3 separate occasions before posting this, each time they messed up my order, including a simple order of 2 Whoppers, yet they couldn't get that right, gave me chicken nuggets instead, they got all 3 of my orders wrong in a similar fashion to this one and when I confronted them about this they refused to admit that they made a mistake and tried to say that I must have ordered that because that's what they put in, I then went to the manager to explain what happened and he shrugged it off and gave a simple excuse of "yeah he's been acting weird" no apology no didn't offer to rerun my order properly and didn't even bother to say anything else before just walking away, this manager was extremely rude and unprofessional and the employees that work there are the same, I was in absolute shock over how I was treated, thats just service, the drive thru, expect to wait at least 20 mins to get any food, and if you do it's cold and fries are soggy. If you are dating enough to go inside you will be greeted by on average 3 homeless people at any time of day, the floors are sticky with soda and the bathroom floors have toilet paper everywhere every time without fail, this was not a single experience, this was 3 separate occasions!
