The Nugget is such a special place. From the moment you arrive you’re greeted by fabulous security. All of them are super kind and caring and take their job seriously ensuring that you feel safe. Before entering the door you can find a beautiful patio where you can enjoy their new bar and be sure to check out the Banhdicted food truck where Donnie is cooking up the best Banh Mis in Tucson. Super friendly and helpful if you have any questions with the items on the menu. I highly recommend the popcorn shrimp with the lemongrass Mayo, Chicken Banh mi with fries and their Iced Coffees are a really great pick me up. If you’re not too hungry don’t worry they have some snacks you can ask or be offered inside. Once you’ve ordered and are waiting for your food make your way inside for my personal favorite recommendation for the Lavender Collin’s if you enjoy vodka. Not too sweet but just right and has such a delicious flavor to it and ALL of the bartenders do such a fabulous job recreating the drink and they are all so kind and approachable. The ambiance and music is ALWAYS a vibe and not to mention their Karaoke nights that bring in such talented singers from all around. Any night of the week you can’t go wrong, which is nice for people who don’t have a regular schedule. If you happen to stop by and your lucky enough to meet the owner and his lovely dog your in for a real treat. The sweetest most caring person I have had the honor of meeting super kind, attentive and an all hands on deck kind of person. I had a deeply concerning experience at The Nugget Bar on May 5, 2024. During a karaoke event I went to, I believed my drink was drugged, and I was unable to move on my own, while the person I suspected was involved, led me outside and took me home. Despite being in the state I was in, NONE of security checked on me, and I was left alone with this person not knowing he was the predator. I was led past security to his vehicle and taken home by this person who I thanked prematurely because I was completely unaware of what he had planned.

When I brought up my concerns about this incident to Kevin in June, I was met with inconsistent responses about video footage availability by Shira a guard and Kevin the manager. After following up again in July, I was banned from the bar. It was retaliation from the Nugget for raising my concerns. I reached out to multiple times, and my complaint was not taken seriously. I was told this by Shira : " We allowed the suspect to present evidence. He showed the owner several screenshots of messages between you two of you thanking him the following day Taking all evidence into consideration a decision was made that you will not be allowed to return to the Nugget"

This place doesn't prioritize the safety of their patrons, their stuff is highly incompetent of performing basic investigations and I really hope The Nugget Bar improves how they handle such incidents moving forward. So that their patrons don't get into a worse incident than...

My girlfriends and I had so much fun celebrating a birthday. We all loved the vibe of this place. Cute, photo worthy signs and decorations everywhere. The women’s bathroom had a barn door instead of the typical bar establishment grungy door, so I missed it when I first looked for it. Drinks were very good. I love that I was offered salt or tajin for my margarita. The bartenders were busy but the girls were up to the task with hustle and friendly service. We got there somewhat early and there was a lot of country music, which is good. Then we went to the super cute patio to order some yummy food from the Bahndicted food truck that was attached. The food truck employees were also super friendly and gave great service. I love the restaurant over by Lee Lee market. Best bahn mi sandwiches. After eating, we went back in the bar and there was hip hop music to dance to. When I closed out my tab, I noticed there was an extra drink I didn’t order. I always look now because I once had 3 extra drinks put on my tab at another bar and didn’t notice until I got home. No one questioned me or gave me any attitude at the Nugget. A man I assumed is the manager/owner came over with the drink removed. Easy peasy. This is such a great place for a fun, laid back night out. I want to go back with my husband.
