After many years, and I mean many, I am finally through with McDonalds. This particular location is close to my house and I saw it being built on the hill years ago and it was a regular spot where I would stop to kill a hunger pang. But no more. They recently refurbished the place but the service for the past couple years has just dropped from bad to awful. Has anyone else noticed that the video menu behind the counter and at the order kiosks have beautiful photos of delicious looking food. But what you receive is never, ever as appealing as the photos. For some reason the cooks just can’t seem to hit the center of the bun. The meat always sits a third of the way off the side. You know, right next to the lettuce, pickles, cheese and other ingredients that also can’t seem to make it all the way to the bun. It’s a mess. So for my money - and for what you receive and how shoddy it’s presented to you, it just is no longer worth coming in. I’m through with Micky-D’s. UPDATE: After much time I went back to McDonalds. BIG MISTAKE. I was in a hurry so I only ordered the Crispy Chicken. I said give me the works - tomato, lettuce and Mayo. The order taker says sorry, out of tomato. I say, okay just the shredded lettuce then. I receive my order which was to go. I drive a few blocks home and open the foil lined bag with the sandwich inside. First I discover that McDonalds now charges 30 cents EXTRA for shredded lettuce!! How cheap is that? Then I discover the sandwich which was closed up in this foil lined bag has now steamed itself into mush.

McDonald’s is the classic go-to when you need something fast, familiar, and easy on the wallet. Whether it’s a quick breakfast on the go, a late-night snack, or a Happy Meal for the kids, you know exactly what you’re getting. The fries? Still some of the best in the fast food game—crispy, salty, and addictive. And the value menu? A lifesaver when you're running low on cash but still need to eat. The food is consistent, for better or worse. It's not gourmet, but it hits the spot when you’re craving comfort food. The McChicken, Big Mac, and Egg McMuffin are nostalgic staples that keep people coming back. Service depends on the location and time of day. Some spots are clean, quick, and friendly. Others... not so much. You might deal with cold food, long waits, or a missing item here and there. Mobile ordering and delivery have added a nice convenience factor, especially if you’re not trying to wait in line. Overall, McDonald’s is reliable in its own way. It’s not fine dining, but it’s fast, familiar, and still holds a special place in the hearts (and stomachs) of millions.

I know many people hate McDonalds maybe it is their “unhealthy” food? But I grew up with McDonald’s. There is no burger like the iconic cheeseburger, filet-o-fish, Big Mac and don’t forget those fries, there is no other like it in terms of taste period. This grant and Silverbell location is undergoing renovation. The drive through is open even though the sit down area is closed. The new menu screen and the ordering screen is large and clear. Once you order through the mic, it spells out in detail what the cashier got from you so if there’s any mistake you can catch it and tell the cashier, I really like this new system. There’s not many cars in the drive through this evening at 7:40 pm so the service is blazing fast. Hmmmm, I’m smelling the fries...

Well normally I don't write bad reviews on places. I am going to have to write this review though. I happen to know Leanne the Franchise Owner and if you ever get an opportunity to meet her, take it as a very true honor. She is a true business woman.

I went to the drive-thru and I asked for two Sundays in McFlurry cups. They insisted that they do not do this and they would not do this. Then I told them that I would like two plain McFlurries with Sunday sauce on top. The employee said, "okay so you insist to have two Sundays inside of a McFlurry cup however you get it, that's fine we're going to have to charge you for McFlurries since it will be more ice-cream." I replied, "that's fine."

I then get both of my McFlurries they didn't ask me what type of Sunday sauce I wanted so they both turn out to be the opposite of what I was going to order, they both turned out to be blended just like a McFlurry and that made them both like milkshakes and not only that they put a ton of Sunday sauce on there. I asked for a Sunday inside of a McFlurry cup and ended up with slushy and melted ice-cream full of Sunday sauce.

Just be very very particular with what you say because what you ask for is not always what you will get. I should have told them that I want it to be just like a Sunday with regular ice cream and sauce on top, not blending like a McFlurry, however I did not expect the Sundays to be blended.

I normally don't eat ice cream or any sweets so I really don't want another one. I would take a meal in exchange. Very disappointing. I take this as a lesson learned and don't order anything custom unless it's a, I don't want something on my food or I do. Then yes, hoever when it comes to custom-made orders, I have learned not to do it with...

Where shall I even begin? this McDonald's absolutely NEEDS to clean house because most of the employees I have encountered, have farrr less than mediocre customer service skills. this morning we took a Lyft there because if you order on UberEats or Doordash you cannot get a caramel frappe which is the main reason we go to McDonald's daily.. mocha is the only option online and none of your crew I.e. team members nor management double check orders for accuracy you just ignore the notes and phone calls you receive updating you with how we want our order and make mocha or whatever you want and it's super aggravating. my wife and I are addicted and lately every time we call all ad get is attitude. sorry to help pay for your pay checks!! we spend sOoOo MUCH money at McDonald's yet its a constant battle to feel satisfied with the food/frappes let alone the non existent kind smiling employees who actually care. this morning my hash browns were raw when I asked for well done but there's no sense in mentioning it unless you want some serious angry rages to happen your employees are hostile and so angry. tonight we again paid for a lyft to go there and it was about 11:11pm and a Ford Mustang got their order taken in the drive thru but we blatantly got ignored. so we called the store from the drive thru and some ghetto girl answered super annoyed and said we close at 11 even though it says midnight online and then she hung up on us. your employees need a store meeting to remind them that they should be thankful to be employed and able to work and make money instead of scaring loyal paying customers away .... also there's a screenshot of your hours since y'all...
