Subway — Restaurant in Tucson

Went in at 8:49pm and was greeted at door. upon coming up to the counter is when everything changed. employee asked normal questions such as ' what kind of sandwich bread? " etc. due to it being another persons order my mother had to call, to see what that person wanted because the original order subway does not carry anymore. as my mom was gathering the new order the employee became impatient asking if it was toasted what cheese and veggies knowing again it was not our order and my mom was on the phone getting the order. when i told the employee to give us a second please she seemed to get more upset. as my mom told her the new order, my mom asked if everything was ok and that was when the employee stated " oh yeah everything is fine, i was just closed ' this location does not close til 9pm, and the employee did not say anything as we first walked in, or before the whole chaos broke. i feel she just stated it to make us feel bad. awkward check out experience due to the issue. will not be back, we were also going to order other sandwiches but felt like a burden to employee so we ended up only...

Literally the WORST Subway in all of Tucson. It is currently 9:25pm and online & on the door, it says they are open until 10pm. We waites a few minutes to see if maybe the employee just took a break or something and that was the case. She walked out of the back and we assumed she was coming to open the door. She looked at us and motioned that she was closed. We pointes at the “OPEN” sign that was still lit and the sticker with the store hours and she just shrugged her shoulders at us. favorite subway I’ve ever been to always clean. They’re always fully staffed. The staff is pleasant. Food is stocked and never looks old or gross. They are attentive. They listen. I take my daughter in there to build her own flatbread pizza sandwich and she’s like a little kid in a candy shop it’s so cool how she loves the process of watching the sandwiches get prepared and chooses her toppings! they change their gloves in between touching meats and even gave us an extra cookie.
