I don't trust them. They lied to me and tried to rip me off. I have a gold mine and I smelt down my own gold. As anyone who has the experience that I do in how to do this, they know when you smelt down the gold and use flux to remove all the impurities, you are making it into 24 ct. But they told me it was only 10 ct. and only offered me scrap price for it. I didn't take a lot with me me because I wanted to see what they would say. I only took 6.5 grams with me. On the day I took it in, it was worth roughly $550. They tried to tell me it was only 2 grams and then first said they would pay scrap price of $120 for it but then changed their story and said that if I brought a larger amount in and paid them $50 to refine it, they would then make me an offer. I don't think so. I kept my composure and simply took my gold with me and left. My advice to anyone who takes their gold in to sell to these people is don't. They will only take advantage of you.
Now I am reading their reply and excuse for telling me it was only 10 ct but they don't have any excuse at all for why they were saying that 6.5 grams was only 2 grams.
Your offer of $120 for 6.5 grams of gold even at 10ct should have been $235 an that day. So don't try to cover up the fact that you take advantage of people with your own thermal xrf scanner that was calibrated by who? And then lie about what your own employee said when he told me it was only 2 grams? I am just leaving this review to let people know that you take advantage of people who don't know any better. I just wanted to see if I could get just as good of a price locally (or at least close) as I have been getting for years from the best place in the entire country to sell my gold. Of course it wasn't even close. My whole point of this review was to expose you to the public for...

Read moreThe associate that helped me was nice. And that is as far as it goes. I came in for a quote about a jewelry repair. I signed in as such and had mentioned to the sales associate why I was there, twice… the sales associate didn’t listen and conducted tests on my ring, then gave me an offer for it (which was a 1/4 of it’s value). I was confused and asked why they were talking money… they said that is what they would purchase it for. I never once said I wanted to sell it. It is my wedding band and it was a laughable offer. I will not recommend this place to anyone. After telling the sales associate that it was my wedding band (and telling this person for the 3rd time that it was in need of repair) they told me they were sorry and that they come from a pawn shop background. They were only focused on getting money for my ring. Absolutely ridiculous. The services I was provided wasn’t what I wanted and not what I had stated I needed. Additionally, I was quoted so much lower than my jewelry’s worth. They only looked at value of metal and not diamond quality. These people are not jewelers, they only want money. Do not give this establishment your goods.
It is in your best interest to go to a proper jeweler. Do not waste your time here. They are not...
