Awesome specials. This place has a great divey atmosphere and the business model is awesome! The food is cheap and cooked perfectly with generous portions. The drinks are cheap too!

Great mix between bar food, steaks and dinner foods. Large menu with something for pretty much everyone. May not be the best if you're vegan, but I'm sure they have awesome salad. REAL GOOD comfort food!

I've eaten here a few times now and noticed it's always been the same guy cooking. Not a bad meal yet.

I haven't eaten there during busy hours and the kitchen isn't very large. But then again the bar and back patio (with tables and is also a smoking area) isn't too overbearing for a single awesome cook.

Don't do yourself the disservice of ignoring this place. Bars like this are national treasures and deserve our patronage.

The girls waiting and bartending took the time to learn my name and use it during service. We brought our 6 month old son in during dinner and one of the bartenders "stole" him for about a half hour and was waiting her tables while holding him as we ate our food. He LOVED it!

Edit: After an incident where it took over a week for my bill to post to my bank account, I did some digging. The food is very good, but I have been informed that their debt card fees violate the Durbin Amendment to the Dodd-Frank Act, which prohibits businesses from adding a surcharge to debit card transactions. There are some ways around this-but this establishment is not practicing those loopholes. This is likely why the receipts only list the amount you are being charged and are not itemized-showing the cost of each item you paid for. Following up with AZ AG office, and urge anyone else who has had this experience to do the same. Apparently, this a very common issue and against the polices of Visa/Mastercard, as well as illegal. But it won’t get fixed if it isn’t reported.

Went for all you can eat fish fry. It was delicious. 3 nice size pieces of light battered fish to start. You could taste the delicious flaky fish instead of overwhelming thick batter. A good portion of tasty fries that were perfectly salted and the best Cole Slaw I ever had in a restaurant. Creamy buy not tangy or bitter and a large portion not a tiny cup. I even loved their tartar sauce...more on the sweet side. I even tried the cocktail sauce...whew, if you love horseradish...this is for you. We sat in the enclosed back room patio area at the picnic tables. There were those large outdoor heaters so it was comfortable even tho smoking is allowed back there, I had no problems and I have asthma. The bar was hoping and service was exceptional.
