I rarely write reviews but when a place is awesome or poor it needs to be acknowledged. I served as security forces and a federal police officer for 15 years combined. I have kids ranging from 18 to 7. We have lived here for 3 years during the pandemic and inflation. I am a security minded person and I haven’t found a more mom and pop place that has the security that Palm Harbor Estates has. Mom and Pop places treat you like family and are always there to help. They go out of the way with a personal touch to make sure guests are treated with the best hospitality. With that in mind I have protected the most important assets the United States has and I can tell you, convenience should never over take security in any situation. First responders have a special key to get in and respond very very quickly. The billions of cameras and up to date security measures coupled with 24 hour response by the park owners and employees is more than enough. If you have an issue getting in, then the system is working. If a park emergency arises while you are a visitor but can’t get out due to a lack ok a car, you need to have a conversation with the person you’re hosting. This is a small community of people who take care of each other. If you are having an issue getting out due to an emergency, any neighbor will help. Listen folks, there are kids and families in this park and they choose this park because their kids can be safe. I have seen, no joke million dollar RVs here, why because it is as safe as it can be. If you want convenience go to the parks across the street, they don’t have gates fences or cameras. If you want to feel safe, get in touch with Palm Harbor, I promise you they...
Read moreI really enjoyed my stay here this past winter. This RV park is extremely well maintained and everyone working there is extremely nice and helpful. Neighbors are friendly and quiet. It's a very secure spot and with better prices than the alternatives. I really appreciated the solar, dark-sky-friendly security lighting as well as the many trees and plants. The access gates worked very well, and they never had any issues the whole time I was there. It was very convenient having my own trash bin and private postal mailbox. All deliveries from UPS or Amazon came straight to my RV instead of being left at a front office.
The storage shed rental option is a very good deal and I used my space as a hobby workshop during the long dark evenings of winter. In the future I would go with this as a gear storage option instead of using the area self storage chains which I discovered do bait and switch pricing.
After researching all options prior to coming into Tucson I'd have to say this has to be the nicest and most secure option as well as the best value. I'm really glad I was able to reserve an open spot especially after seeing some of the nearby alternatives in person.
The only improvements I can think of to the existing setup would be an onsite laundry room and a common/community area.
I would highly recommend Palm Harbour and would happily...
Read moreMy wife and I relocated from Yuma to Tucson in March of this year. We were looking for an RV park to stay at while we looked at properties. I found Palm Harbour online and gave them a call. I had a great conversation with David and we ended up booking a site. When we arrived they helped me back into my site. The site was huge. We have a 40' toy hauler. When we are hooked to our truck, we are 61' long. I had enough room to park in front of my rig and drop the 7' deck down in back. The site had a cement pad which helped us transfer my wheelchair bound wife to our truck. There was ample space between sites on either side as well. We have traveled from coast to coast and have never stayed in a park with this much space.
We enjoyed the location close to the interstate and local shopping. The park was quiet at night and the people are quite friendly. You will not find a park with better security. It is gated with security cameras all over the place. We ended up staying for 4 months. I highly recommend...
