I really wanted this to be the perfect place. Walking in, there were delicious baked goodies everywhere you look! Some of the prettiest cookies and pastries I've ever seen! They had displays of treats behind the counter in addition to prepackaged goodies. They had marinara sauce, pasta, bread, all sorts of things you'd expect at an Italian bakery. Prices were a bit steep in comparison to other bakeries in town though. $16 a pound for cookies. The staff was present and friendly but seemed to lack "enthusiasm." We ordered 2 sandwiches to go. We grabbed a couple of bags of chips and paid for them along with the sandwiches only to later find out the sandwiches came with chips. So instead of offering a refund, they have us more chips. I had the italian beef sub. The bread was nice and soft... and soggy on the bottom from the juice. I would recommend not ordering this one to go but eat there fresh instead. I would also recommend adding some salt and pepper as the meat had absolutely no flavor. The ham and cheese was good, average. Just one sandwich came with a cookie, not sure why they both didn't. There are plenty of other items to choose from, and for the record, I'm willing to give them another try. They are a local business who've been here for a very long time, so there's got to be something that is to die for. I'll let you know if I discover what that is! Maybe it's the gelato? That looked yummy but was not in the mood for cold today. Or maybe it's one of their pasta dishes. There is plenty to choose from, including pizza! Overall I have to give 3 stars this time. I hope next time I will have a reason to...

By far the worst dining experience I have had. First, our waitress talked to me like I was speaking another language when I asked if they had sugar free syrup for Italian Cream Soda. When my grandfather ordered the catfish dinner special they had on the board by the register, she said "So fish and chips?" We said no, the catfish dinner special and she said all the fish they serve is catfish (there is no way) and that they do not have cod even though the menu specifically says the fish and chips is cod. So as expected, my grandfather got cod. She was then extremely rude to me when I told her it was cod and not catfish. Next, my husband got the incorrect pizza. They brought another that was closer to the toppings he ordered but still missing one. He compared it to the pizza at his work cafeteria. My grandmother's food did not even come out until about 30 minutes after the rest of us were served and they forgot her salad. I absolutely hate complaining and I hate confrontation but I did let a different (much nicer, seemingly more knowledgeable) waitress know what happened. She checked with the owner and they gave us free dessert. Which is a nice gesture but the last thing you want is more food from a place that got everything wrong. I think Viro's would be great if they stuck to the bakery and maybe lunch a few days a week. I don't mind waiting - they were quite busy - but clearly and unfortunately cannot maintain quality of food or service for dinner. If you visit, maybe get some gelato or baked goods but do not...

I needed 45 cannoli's for an office birthday, and I wanted to get a GOOD cannoli. I called Viro's right before they closed the night before I needed them to see if they could fulfill my order. Even though they don't normally open until 9AM they worked with me to have 45 mini cannoli's ready by 7:30AM that next morning. That morning I called at 6 to see if the baker would have them ready in time, and I was assured all was well. Of course 7:30 rolls around and Viro's is ready to go and I am not. As my morning got away from me with meetings, and reports I realized I wasn't going to have time to pick them up! I called again and asked if there was any way they could be delivered to the office (40 minutes from the bakery!). They checked with the driver and even had him come back and we made plans to have them delivered by noon. The cannoli's were delivered with time to spare, and all day I heard nothing but rave reviews on how amazing they were! The birthday boy said they reminded him of the one's his Italian grandmother would make! Another team member said "I didn't think I liked cannoli's until I tried these! So great job" - Not great job to me, great job to Viro's!!! I will absolutely be making them my preferred baker from...

Cannot recommend this place. I do not agree with their business practice. 1) we ordered a pizza to go online menu price says 16.49 for a 16” 3 topping pizza. Get to store they charge 18.49. Ok so they need to update the online menu. 2) when I see receipt they charge me for 2 additional toppings. I made the mistake to order 2 toppings on the whole pizza and a third half and half. They told me that each half counts as a whole topping. Ok I don’t agree but why charge me for 2 I still ordered a 3 topping but only got 2 had to pay for 2 that’s wrong. Lady no help at all no interest in helping no caring if I stay as a customer 3). I take the pizza out and as I am leaving it is sliding all over the box so I open it and the pizza was tiny. I actually measured it and the picture is proof I only got a 13” pizza for $22. Wow. Update I got a call from the owner he apologized and took care of situation. I fully respect that thank you.

The paninis are incredible. No one else in Tucson does proper Italian paninis like them. They also have an insane amount of other products like fresh gelato, Italian pastries, meal prep, and other items. Their potato focaccia sells out really fast and I was lucky enough to get my hands on one. It's really nice and fluffy even before you bake it. I dipped it in some vinegar and oil and it was great. They always have specials and their lunch and dinner menus are fantastic. They even have meal prep items you can buy for last minute family meals like pizza and lasagna and there's a bunch of imported products from Italy. Their butter cookies are incredible and you get one with every panini you order. I've gone here countless times and will keep going back. I love supporting local businesses especially when they have great products and services like this place does.
