Mountain Mike's Pizza — Restaurant in Tulare

I Been wanting to do this review for a while. They advertised the lunch buffet $9 and change all of January so had to do it. If wanted soda it costs a little more. They had 4 different kinds of pizza. Pepperoni, all meat, combination and pineapple and ham. All of them were really good. All toppings were very good quality. The crust was thicker than I expected but good. The sauce wasn't to much so made the toppings the main star. The salad bar was very clean and fresh. Blue Cheese dressing had beautiful chunks in it. The ranch was good but didn't make list of top favorites. Improvement areas: before I start , I will acknowledge some places have payroll problems weekdays for lunches. That being said the booth we chose had crumbs on it. That wasn't to bad but there was plates on table behind me and after about 45 minutes they were still there. When trying to decide what to do with my plates I noticed the pile of plates on trash receptacle (in photo) . That part can be fixed with proper training. When someone leaves, it takes less then 5 minutes to clear/clean table. For the kids, there is many coin machines and video games. Overall I do recommend trying...

I absolutely love this Mountain Mike's location!!! First of all, their buffet keeps me and my family coming back for more. It is always so delicious, and we always leave full! Every time we come in for their lunch buffet, the pizzas and salad bar options are always freshly stocked, and I love the pizza varieties that are avaliable for us to eat. One thing that also really stands out to me about this location is the friendliness of the staff. I really appreciate the way that the employees are always asking if everything is good about our dining experience. I have had multiple employees on different occasions checking in on me and my family during our time there, and it really represents the care they have about their customers. We walk in and it smells so bad inside. We should have just left. Not sure why we stayed. Maybe for this review and my call to the Visalia Mountain Mike's to complain. It was that bad! Filthy pizzeria! Unfriendly gal at counter. Requested her assistance and she completely ignored me and the whole establishment was awful. Filthy once again and carpets wreaked. Health Dept should shut it down. It used to be so nice and so yummy. Gosh. They won't be open for long unless they are catering to people who don't mind eating in a dirty place with old salad, gooey raw pizza, wet with pineapple ugh. And $80 for a lg pizza, 3- 1 trip salads (disgusting salad bar) & 3 drinks NEVER be back! Gone are yummy, clean places to eat...
