La Monita Ice Cream Shop — Restaurant in Tullahoma

Our family stopped by on a Saturday evening during Memorial Day weekend. Many frozen treat varieties were available but nothing was labeled. We asked if there were any tags or guide to the different flavors offered and were told we could point out which ones we wanted to know about and she would tell us - other than chocolate, vanilla, and the mint, it was anyone's guess what the other dozen+ flavors were. We said we didn't know what we wanted because we couldn't recognize most of the flavors and asked for them to be listed, so the lady blazed through listing them off while sounding about as apathetic as I've ever heard from someone working a local business. Checkout was met with the same level of enthusiasm - total was given, we were asked if we wanted our receipt, and were told "Y'all are good, then."

This place has only been open since March 1, 2025... I know this first impression has made us consider this to be our last visit, but really... If you don't want to be there, work somewhere else. The ice cream isn't so good that the service can be subpar.
