If you use a credit or debit card, stripe goes towards the green dot. Have your five year old insert and remove card. This reader was designed for them.Again stripe towards green dot. Tell your sign builders thanks for being stupid. Let people stick the card in the wrong way all day long..

A customer really should not have to hand their card to anyone to disappear with..Also it prohibits a customer from leaving a tip for the server using a card, and forces the server to make 2 additional trips inside. If someone installed a READABLE decal near the card slot, showing which direction to insert the card half the battle would be over. By the time you insert the card in multiple directions, it times out and the system wont take payment. One almost has to be a contortionist, with tiny fingers, to use the card reader, I chatted w one of your managers about it and was advised we know and " corporate never listens". Why not make it user friendly for everyone's benefit. especially your servers getting cheated out of tips due to a your suppliers ignorance....even the hieroglyphics near the reader doesnt really make sense for card...

The only reason I ordered a Route 44 is because on the menu EVERY slush comes in the Route 44, all soft drinks, Lime Aids and Tea's come in the Route 44...Only Shakes don't come in the Route 44 size and it wasn't corrected as I ordered. So this "orange slush" is gross! Imagine that! Advice? I've worked 3 Sonics here you go! (Specify Any Differences in an order as you ring it up and atleast see if the customer would like it corrected, even if there's an extra expense) don't just make them keep what was thought they ordered. Read moreWhy have an app???? Updated review 7/12/2024. Ordered and paid for food 20 minutes prior to scheduled pick-up time. After arrival at the scheduled pickup time and checking in. I sat there for 8 minutes when suddenly the menu screen changed to "your order is in the kitchen." As a server walked by questioning everyone if they were someone named Daniel and if they had placed a web order. I responded that I was Bob, I had placed a web order nearly 30 minutes ago and would she cancel the order and refund my money as they had now made me late for work. If the food is not going to be prepared until customer arrival; Why pre-order? Why pre-pay? Why schedule an arrival time? What use is your app? I can easily pull up and press a button, give an order, and pay for it while I wait. Pathetic.
