I love that we are getting more Latin food options in Tulsa! This place has lots of variety, lots of culture showing through in their cuisine. The atmosphere is super nice and laid back, with a “campo tropical” type feel. My husband had the Lomo Saltado and I had the seafood rice, both of us a side of yucca fries. Their food presentation is beautiful and the flavor is over-all good. I really do want to return and give it another try because I do want to review it again with 5 stars. The portions seem a bit on the small side relative to the price, but that’s not a big dealbreaker. I was enjoying my seafood rice, and about 2 bites of rice and one clam into it, I was overwhelmed by a pungent smell of ammonia in my mouth. I immediately spit it out on my plate, and rinsed my mouth out in the restroom. I opened up all my clams and the ammonia smell came rising from my plate. I took the clams over to the counter and asked the girl at the register to smell them. She did so, and quickly turned her face away in repugnance. She walked away with my napkins full of putrid clams and I didn’t hear anything from anyone behind the counter again. Nobody came out to apologize, nobody came out to offer a replacement meal, or a refund. Read moreThis is hands down my favorite Peruvian restaurant in Tulsa! After living here for three years, I was thrilled to discover a place that brings the authentic flavors of Peru to Oklahoma. Jonathan, the owner, is a bold entrepreneur with a clear vision to share and expand Peruvian cuisine in the area. My family and I love coming here every Sunday after church—it’s become a tradition for us. The Lomo Saltado, Seco de Res con Frejoles, and Pollo a la Brasa are my top recommendations. Inkanto feels like home to me, offering not just excellent food but also warm hospitality and a truly unique dining experience. I highly...
Read moreMy wife and I order a Peruvian chicken fried rice and Aaron Con Pollo.
The Peruvian fried rice - the rice was not fully cooked and was dry. It also had a burnt taste to it.
Aaroz Con Pollo - not very exceptional. The price point was little higher relatively compared to similar restaurants. The red sauce was little watery.
Pahac is my all time favorite Peruvian restaurant but closed permanently. This restaurant is no way closer to Pahac.
