I really had high hopes but was disappointed. There was a very tight awkward line inside, which is understandable due to how small the shop is. The young lady behind the counter was rude to the guy in front of me. She came out of the back and stepped up to him and said loudly, ā€œwhat can I get for you?ā€ And before he could respond she stated again even louder, ā€œI said, What Can I Get For You!ā€ Granted they were busy, but that was not called for. He looked embarrassed. The sausage rolls are Not good. I like the sausage, but the little pouch it comes in just isn’t edible. The donut holes had to have been day old. I was not expecting that. I was charged for two bags and only asked for one, but they were busy and I just took em’ I had high hopes for the apple fritter, but I had a few bites and threw it away. Just not a great experience. I may try again when they are slower.

I would not recommend this place for anyone , I asked for a dozen of fresh donuts when opened to see if fresh they where cold asked for a refund because I was not given what i ordered I was told no refund can be given I proceeded to ask where is the sign that says no refund there was none available so of course Asked to speak to someone else about the service & refund was only given a number to send me on my way which was false , I’m disappointed to know that it’s a family owned business without the service that’s needed to be provided to the customer, (happy customer brings returned customers , and continued services I would think a small family owned business would want that it’s unfortunate they don’t

Summary; Below average donut shop with overly sweet drinks, and mediocre donuts. Coffee: SO SWEET! Any of their drinks taste like just pure sugar no coffee. Donuts: - Old fashioned: Mediocre at best. Old fashioned tasted bland, and left oily texture. - Glazed donuts: Pounds of frosting on each donut. Good or bad thats up to you. We didn't like it. - Chocolate covered donuts: Good coating of chocolate, not to thin and not to thick. Pretty great. Sausage rolls: Wrapped in what tasted like unleavened dough. Pretty decent. Not great not bad.

I orderd 5 donuts along with a coffee, juice and donut holes. When getting getting home ( didnt check there because dog was in front seat) I didn't receive the two donuts but was charged for them. I called and was told they couldn't ( wouldn't) refund me for the two they didn't give me. But I could drive back up there (on icey roads) or the next time I came in they would give me two "extra" donuts and only asked for my name. However, I have no intention in returning. The prices were not listed anywhere (drive thru) , the girl at the register seemed annoyed to be working, took a while answering the window ( completely dead inside) and the coffee was cold at 9am. Not to mention I was charged for a large, never asked what size i wanted but was actually cut me off to say ( not ask) "you don't want cream or sugar, just want it balck". I said okay, out of shock, little confused ( not having my coffee yet) and she seemed so put off to add it that i didn't want to deal with it.

I know all of these thing may seem small, but this is the 3rd time my family and I have had a bad experience. First time I had two extra charges. I called them a few days later (middle of moving) and was told I was wrong and reading the recipe wrong, and the girl on the phone kept telling me I ordered 8 donuts even though I ordred 6. The second time my husband received the wrong donuts and cold coffee. These experience were spread out over about 6 months at different times of the day. I don't expect them to be and am awake they "don't claim to be a perfect shop", which is their answer for all negitive reviews. Yes, everyone messes up but that doesn't mean a business doesn't have to take responsibility for their mistakes or not try. I have to work hard for the money spend and dont think my expectations are to much. I expect constitent quality ( not hard donuts, cold coffee or same types of donuts but some tiny with tons of iceing and some larger with little icieng), to receive what I order, menu displayed in a location visible even in drive thru, and not talked to like I'm annying them for wanting donuts. Oh, and also, MY MONEY BACK WHEN I PAY FOR THINGS THAT I DO...

Does anyone know if this store is under new management/ownership? In the 11 minutes that I sat through the drive through (with 3 cars in front of me), I saw 10+ customers come and go through the store doors. Wish I could have done the same but didn't really feel like getting toddlers in and out of the carseats, and they think the drive thru is a pretty neat thing. Once I got to the window I expressed my frustration (calmly) and inquired why the rate of customers being helped in store vs. drive thru was so varied. I was not given a clear answer, only that "we have a dedicated person to the window". Very little was offered in the way of customer service and I decided to leave without ordering. Bad parenting moment of the day: I fibbed to the kids and told them the store didn't have any more donuts. I've never worked in a donut shop, but it seems to me that 4mins/order through the drive thru leaves much to be desired when each customer in the shop had an average wait time of 45 seconds. Does anyone know what's...

In May, My daughter had contacted Livi Lees to order 4 doz donuts and 10 doz holes for her Aug wedding. She had a written quote of $60 from Livi Lees stating price and everything. This week when she goes in to pay for the donuts, they tell her they are not doing events during Corinavirus and didn’t have her on their calendar. She went again the next day,, and the worker says the manager would ā€œgrandfatherā€ her request to bring donuts, but the price in the quote was wrong and would be DOUBLE ($120!) for the donuts! For 4 doz!!! The worker would not give my daughter the manager number to talk to her, and she got tired of dealing with them. HORRIBLE customer service!! My daughter then went to Joy Donuts at 51st/Sheridan and she is creating her wedding donuts...very sweet owner! Stay away from Livi Lee for you wedding donuts...it’s stressful enough trying to coordinate a wedding (plus during Cornoavirus) and then to have a company back out of a written contract to provide donuts is...
