Read moreThis was one of the worst experiences that I have ever had with a delivery service. I had trouble ordering online because my address wasn't in their directory. I was greeted at the door with "what's up with this address" a full half an hour after the quoted time (an hour). These were literally the only words that were spoken to me throughout the interaction. Unless you consider the heinous scowl on the lady's face as some form of primordial expression. The order was missing condiments that I paid an exorbitant price for. And cold since it took an hour and a half to get the food. When I called the store to speak with a manager, I was routed to their corporate hotline where I was put on hold for 15 minutes for the customer service representative to tell us that they would have to come back out to the apartment to pick up the food in order to void the transaction. If you've been counting this is almost 2 hours after I placed the order. So, starving, I further inconvenience myself by driving to the store to drop off the food (and to get some actual food). Even here, the cashier was extremely unprofessional and unkempt, leaving food and drinks in front of the cashier's station. She rolls her eyes as I'm trying to ask for a manager and walks away. She waves her hands dismissively at me. The manager as well as a flock of other young and unprofessional employees gather round us to gawk at my complaint. I will admit the manager was the ONLY semi-positive interaction that I had throughout the whole ordeal. He said as soon as the driver returned my order would be voided. If you're reading this, Mr. Manager, thank you, but your courtesy will not make me dine at any Mazzio's again. I wish you the best of luck dealing with employees that show no concern about the well being of...
Read moreWe ordered pizza at 8:33. It was scheduled to be delivered at 9:25. At 9:46 I called the store. I have no idea if it was actually the store or some person in Alaska. She said she was discounting our order and that it should arrive in a moment. She said to call back if it wasn’t. At 9:55, I called the store again and was transferred to “customer service” … as I was speaking to that person, I was hung up on. The driver pulled up as this happened, which was at 10:00, and he said he had gotten off work at 7:40, and they called him back in to deliver the order - the receipt says it was picked up at 9:21. We live less than 3 minutes from the store. There is no way it should take 40 minutes to deliver. The food was cold. Very disappointing. It’s a shame too because in this part of town our options for pizza delivery are limited to Mazzio’s and Dominos. Guess we will be ordering Dominoes from now on.
A year and four months later ... In August 2023, we ordered from Mazzios after a memorial service (See above review). We were exhausted, and I did not want to cook. The order took an hour and a half to receive, and it was cold. We decided to not order from Mazzios again. Yesterday (November 2024), I decided surely it wouldn't be the same, so I gave it a try. I ordered at 5:20 p.m. The food did not arrive until after 6:50 p.m. I called the story at 6:31 p.m. and was told the order had left the store. We live less than 5 minutes from the store. We will NOT be ordering cold pizza from Mazzios again. We also did not receive several of the smaller dipping sauces that I ordered and paid for. Not...
