Smitty's Garage Burgers & Beer — Restaurant in Tulsa

Decided to give 'Smitty's a try bcuz the Hubs kept telling me about them. We walked in, but wasn't immediately addressed. There were several Hispanic female staff standing around and neither spoke, as we stood at the register. Finally, a Male staff came over and took our order. He was really Friendly and answered my questions, about certain menu items. I wanted a taco salad, but it Doesn't come w/an actual taco bowl. So I ordered chicken Nachos (minus the chicken-add beef). My Husband ordered the bacon burger w/garlic parm fries and a side of garlic aioli sauce. I asked about the 'Mexican Coke' and he said, "it's made w/pure sugar cane", so I added that too. However, it tasted like a Regular Coca-Cola.🤷🏾‍♀️ We waited a bit for our take-out, but that was okay bcuz we wanted fresh food, so No problem. Finally, it was ready and bagged up, so I ck'd to make sure everything was correct. Thankfully I did bcuz the wrong burger was in the bag and for $10, hardly any beef on the Nachos.🤦🏾‍♀️I let 1 of the Hispanic staff ladies' know about my order, but the other staff member (Caucasian female staff) wound up handling it. She was Extremely Nice and Personable and got it corrected. She also had the cook add a small cup of beef to my "barely there nachos" (in pic B4 adding the addt'l beef). However, my Husband's burger looked Delightful! I tasted a few of the garlic parm fries b4 we left and they had a Good taste to them, but we're soggy and Not hot. But it was rainy outside, we were hungry and had been there long enough, so we took our food and went home. We'd try them again in the future and eat-in next time. Maybe it was just an "off night", so hopefully it'll be better the next time around!🙂 P.S. I Didn't have any names of the staff, so I was Unable to address their actual names in my review. I visited Smitty’s for the first time this evening 9/26/24. Alexis took my order and made an excellent recommendation to try the chipotle ranch with my onion rings. Perfect! And what a pleasant young lady. I had the classic cheese burger cuz I like it basic. The meat was cooked perfectly and well seasoned. My toppings were crunchy and a good size. This basic burger was delish. just the right amount of juice for me. I enjoyed this meal and will try again. A+ Ty was bartender and he did an excellent job as well. I tried the thunderita, very tasty and did what I needed it to do. He was speedy and attentive and pleasant to talk to. Alexis and Ty both checked on me during my visit and we shared some smiles. What a nice environment. The tvs all around so made it easy to watch the football game, no matter which way I was sitting. Good food, good drinks and great company. Giving this team an A+. I also met Amanda and she has a great smile and helped me get my smitty’s points. Thanks guys

The only negative I can say, is I couldn’t see the giants game on the big screen. What is this people now need Amazon Prime to watch...

Very fun place with good food, there is an issue they really need to address though. First the food portion of the review, both burgers were good with the Sriracha burger being the standout, the meat on both burgers had a good char and taste. The fries were also good but a little greasy on this trip. On my last visit the fries were served very hot and were nice and crispy but this time they were only warm and limp. The garlic/parmesan fries were really good. Now to the negative; this place was FREEZING COLD!!! By the looks of the guests around me we weren't the only ones feeling this way; and yes we switched tables trying to find a comfortable place. There place was so cold our fries became cold and inedible within 5 minutes.

One last gripe, we were asked no less than 9 times how our food was by 4 different people. A few visits are great but 9 just gets very annoying and interrupting. Manager-1 visit, food runner-2 visits, server-3 visits, bartender-3 visits. I can appreciate the caring but this was...
