Tacos Mi Rey — Restaurant in Tulsa

The Birria hunt #3 So I’ve been on the Birria taco hunt, trying to find the most flavorful authentic birria taco in Tulsa. So far Tacos Mi Rey has the number 1 spot. The beef was super tender , packed a punch of flavor; now dip it in the consome and perfecto! I mean you will do the “it’s sooo good dance”. At least I did! The rice and beans were melodic in my mouth just yummy. How can rice and beans be any different? I have no idea what they sprinkled on their rice and beans but it was if they did a Salt Bae for flavor. It’s ala cart style 4 tacos, rice and beans with the consome will run you about $17 and every single dollar was with it! I will be back however the Birra taco...

A friend and I are always seeking out new places to try and settled here because the reviews are good. We were both very happy with our food and dined in. The only real issue about this place is there is absolutely no feeling of being comfortable here. It felt like a cafeteria and a sign said the bathroom was unavailable. While we were there the door was open so the restaurant was filled with flies - not ideal. It's located inside a Western Union, which is just kind of weird for a restaurant. Great...

A friend told us that we could get very authentic Mexican taco's here. We absolutely loved it!

We got the tacos Al Pastor, some quesadillas and the Quezabirrias. All of it was amazing, but my favorite was the Quezabirrias, I could have order 10 more and stuffed myself till I couldn't move... But I only ordered 2 more so that stomach still was happy after leaving.

It's inside the Yellow Western Union, so don't let that confuse you.
