I ordered a chicken strips meal, egg rolls and jalapenos poppers, and I was told it'd be a while. I didn't mind, but at the window, no one came to get my money. Instead, two people were just talking. I had two drinks, so I didn't understand why they wouldn't give me my drinks and take my money so when the food was done, I could go.
After 14 minutes, because "the chicken strips are frozen," a guy comes to the window, slowly opens it and doesn't say anything. I handed him 30 bucks for an order that was 27.77. It took him 3 minutes to get my change, and I wish I was joking. Not once did this guy use 2 hands. At one point, he stared at the register for a while, then grabbed 2.23 cents one coin at a time. As he handed me the change I asked to make sure there was ketchup, ranch and sweet and sour sauce, which I ordered and paid for.
I get my change, he goes to hand me my bag, then stops and says "need drinks" to another guy who slowly begins to pour my drinks. The guy finally hands me my drinks, then food but no straws. So I asked for straws and if there was ranch, etc. He assured me there was and slowly gives me straws acting like I hurt his feelings.
Of course, no condiments or napkins. The chicken strips were the only thing hot. So I pulled around to run inside, but the lobby was closed at 4pm on a Saturday and the drive thru was packed. I knocked on the door, repeatedly, and the person inside just stared at me. Eventually, I left and threw most of the food in the garbage, because it was. The only hot item was overcooked and disgusting.
30 bucks for inedible food that took over 30 minutes to get. I told some people about it, and apparently it's normal for that location. I can only assume the managers are terrible at literally everything and the person at the window was easily the slowest employee I've ever seen who is incapable of basic communication and math. Obviously you put that guy in a position that requires basic communication and math.
I normally don't rant, my reviews are usually positive, but this was a terrible experience and indictment of our education system that continues to pump out people barely capable of minimum wage jobs because someone has to do it. I was angry until it made me extremely sad until I remembered that the minimum wage is almost 15 an hour here. I have to pay more for everything so complete idiots can make far more than they're worth as if it's my fault they're too lazy and incompetent to learn an actual skill....
Read moreBathrooms are clean, restaurant is primarily clean, service is slower than molasses…! Food was not hot and the taco shells were stale and chewy… a little difficult to get to, drive through the 7-11 gas station to get to it… Jack in the box drive thru was not open during the morning, at noon they removed the cones blocking the drive thru. Everyone… I mean everyone moves extremely slow here. Seriously.😳 We ordered 2 taco orders, watched the young man with the JitB visor put 2 tacos in the fryer, I guess there were 2 tacos just sitting somewhere else. Every person that I saw (register employee and cook employee) just 2 employees that I could see were moving like they just got done eating a thanksgiving meal, literally dragging their feet as the navigated from counter to cook top to refrigerator to front counter. No hustle, no spring to the step and clearly no motivation to be there, I felt like I was intruding in someone’s house, like I wasn’t even noticed. There wasn’t a manager that I could see, and it felt like it… no leadership or accountability to make a fresh hot meal expeditiously. Pitiful service, employees seem to be running a muck. They need a good manager that leads by example and then remove the ones that don’t belong in the service industry. These 2 employees are contributing to the long list of complaints. Everything everyone has complained about I truly experienced it for myself. Expect a long wait, slow moving employees, stale food, cold food and lack of pride at this store. Don’t believe me… go check it out for yourself. Maybe it was an off day...
Read moreVisited this restaurant this morning. I got the feeling that they are not used to customers walking inside. There were bags of both regular and curly fries piled on the checkout counter, along with plastic bins they had started pouring them in. Those fries definitly were not frozen anymore. Definitely not the place to do that or see as a customer. The drive-thru was very busy. I felt very bad for the employees this morning. Seemed horribly understaffed (2) that I saw, possibly (3). 'Super busy' drive-thru employee helped me and she made an iced coffee for me with a smile. The cook helped me out big-time, also with a smile, with the code to the men's bathroom door, after my order. The men's bathroom toilet would not flush. It was obvious, when I first walked in and a few tries. I asked for the code for the ladies restroom, and was given that to use by the cook. It seemed like he stood watch for that to happen and checked out the problem in the men's bathroom at the same time.., very helpful..Thank you, my Man. My message to the owner of this establishment is there are some major understaffed shifts at this establishment. Having to deal with that and things they shouldn't have to. Get your plumbing fixed or at least put a plunger next to the non working toilet. I would have used it. You have great employees, that are being overworked by my observations. It seems like you do not care about them, the customers or safety. You are the owner. Please do better. I remember when this place was not like you've let it become. Please...
