The Office Tavern — Restaurant in Tumwater

31 yr old developmentally disabled patron and family asked to leave because the OWNER was "uncomfortable" with him being there!

Today we went to the office bar and grill in tumwater to watch the game at noon. We were there for 4 hours and someone played Korn on the juke box. ( my sons favorite band). He stands up to dance. (Those of you that know David know he just rocks in one place ) And yes he was a little loud. But not near as loud as the 13 other people there and everyone was having fun.

The owner came up and told us he had to leave because he was making it uncomfortable for everyone there.

I guess the 3 diet sodas he had was too much.

THE STAFF WAS OUTRAGED WITH THE OWNER'S ACTIONS.

But who in their right mind would ask a handicapped kid to leave when no one had an issue with him but the 80 year old owner.

The staff and other patrons took it upon themselves to apologize for the owner's actions as they were leaving. The owner also informed them that he would lock the door if they tried...

I met a beautiful woman at the local Buffalo Wild Wings. She gave me her Instagram and we agreed to meet at "The Office" for Billiards. Ive been going here for about 7 years now.. This place used to be a WHOLE vibe, used to have tons of regulars that all came together like family. The bartenders used to step up and protect people and really played into an amazing atmosphere and we always had a good time. I'm not entirely sure what happened but over the last year it's slowly became uncomfortable, the regulars that were always there I haven't seen in months .. the people that stayed are creepy, and prey on drunk girls and the new bartenders don't do anything about it. They instead threaten to 86 people who try and help and stand up for girls that can't do it themselves because they were overserved and can't even tell you what their name is. My advice would be, make sure you go with good friends and keep them close. Make sure you have a safe getaway with someone you trust. Otherwise you may end up a victim. Stay safe and...
