I recently had the pleasure of dining in at this establishment and I was thoroughly impressed! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a cozy country charm that made me feel right at home.
The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met.
The real star of the show was the food - oh, the food! I ordered French toast, scrambled eggs, bacon with lots of coffee and it was cooked to perfection. The flavors were rich and savory, and the presentation was beautiful. Don't even get me started on the baked goods... their entire lineup is absolutely divine.
I've been to a few restaurants in the area, but Towne and Country Grille/Bakery truly stands out from the crowd. Whether you're a local or just passing through, do yourself a favor and stop by for a meal (or a sweet treat). You won't be...
Read moreGood food, terrible service. Went for dinner Sat. evening. Requested a booth (two clearly available) but was told that because we did not have a reservation, the only available seating was by the entrance door. Temperature outside was 15 degrees and we froze everytime the door opened. The very next couple that entered had no reservation but was seated in a booth. Waited 15 minutes for a glass of water. Had to ask for salt and pepper. Was never asked if we wanted dessert. Charged for the more expensive crab entree. Just left my payment at the cashier desk because no one was attending it! Maybe we caught them on a bad night, but it was not that busy. Sorry, will...

Waited so long....5 or so to be seated, 5-10 more before anybody came by to see if we were ready, 30 post-ordering waiting for food.
Menu is small, and doesn't offer much - no sides in particular(don't order off menu, a 'side ' of bacon is $5). Ordered with a specific cheese, they sent American. I ate it, because after 10 minutes of trying, I realized the guy that took our order wasn't coming back anytime soon(water/coffee refills, no?). Sure enough, after we finished and looked around for a while - he dropped off the check. It took 2 tries to checkout.
So, expensive and slow - maybe we'll try again in a few months, but overall not...
