My sister and I were traveling through MS, where we grew up to Southern AL. We don't have a Jack's down here and my sister said we had to get some before coming back home. It was a Sunday, so maybe the church rush depleted these guys. However, we showed up after that crowd. We just wanted two basic chicken and biscuit combos. Gravy as the side. A coffee for one of us, cola for the other. The lady who was on the speaker seemed pretty rude but we were still nice! We had to pull up to wait, which was no problem. The lady who brought us our food barely said a word even though we said thank you, have a nice day. She just walked off. We were about to leave and my sister said hold on... The gravy. Let me see if I paid for it first I don't want to cause an issue. She did. So we turned back around and I told the lady, "Hey we just came through with the chicken biscuit combos, I think we forgot the gravy could I pull around and get some?" The lady was hesitant and then said, "Sure, pull around well get you some gravy." Awesome. Back on track.. We got the gravy and headed out. The tots were golden. The coke was crispy. The coffee tasted like they put in wayyyy too much creamer. The taste is equivalent to a chocolate straw for kids. I waited on my biscuit until we got back to the motel we stayed the night before. Which was only right down the road for 3 minutes. They put the gravy on the biscuits dude! And the biscuits weren't fully cooked. They were kind of like playdough. Pretty cooked playdough I guess. The gravy made it all mushy. I have no clue why they did not think to ask about that. Considering my sister wanted the gravy for the tots and I just wanted to try the stuff, I'd never got their gravy before. So yes, not the best experience. The outside looked like whoever built it worked hard at least, very pretty brick placement. The tots shouldn't have been the main star though. People come in for the biscuits Jacks. Please get better customer service for your town. Your food is too good...
Read moreWe usually order durring breakfast hours and have little to no issues, however, we recently dealt with an attitude that has caused this review, from night shift.
If you order cookies through the mobile app, you might want to call the store before leaving, to ensure they have cookies or are willing to put some in to be almost done by the time you get there.
Was told that they didn't have any, and didn't have anything to sub it with, that it would be a 15-30 minute wait, even though the order was placed several minutes before hand, and, there was no one in drive-thru or the lobby when we got there. I asked for a refund, she said I would have to "go through corporate," I asked her to walk me through on the app, considering there is no way for me to indicate that I only received part of my order, and she continued to state that it isn't on her, that I ordered through the app and have to go through it and corporate for a refund.
Hardees is great! Heard we are getting a Bojangles or two as well! Hopefully no one else will have this attitude problem and hopefully this Jacks will gain employees who understand that getting the product in as soon as you see the order, like your supposed to, instead of trying to talk the customer out of wanting the paid for product, is customer service.
Also, we noticed that she may have been trying to talk us out of it because at 7:50PM, she had the store broken down for pre-close which possibly meant the oven was originally turned off and we had to wait for...
Read moreDespite the city order in place and CDC guidance, the manager and all workers save one were wearing masks covering only mouths, leaving noses free. The manager acknowledged this saying masks were "too hot" too wear. She then became flustered and angry. One part of our order came promptly. The other was delayed because of the manager's upset. After 10 minutes, I politely stood in line then asked for my money back which triggered a dramatic scene during which my food was produced to sit with my spouse's cold entree. I just persisted finally getting a credit. A patron rushed forward giving the manager $5.00 in support to which that manager continued to speak loudly to me now about how some people were nice and appreciative and others were difficult and made trouble. Finally I got my confirmation and could leave. That was a very unpleasant, unhealthy, unadult experience in drama, not customer...
