Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Tuscaloosa

In March, I made an order for around $60 for all of my roommates and me to eat dinner on the app. However, when I arrived, they were out of everything due to the “delivery truck coming late and everything being frozen” which was unfortunate but okay. In response, I asked for a refund and they said no you have to go through app. Okay, unfortunate but fine. Too ky absolute disbelief, it’s now September, I was never refunded after 12 calls to their support number of the company (which does not exist anymore). They reported multiple time that they were waiting for this store to respond and pay it, NEVER happened. Everything else was unfortunate but understandable, whats not understandable is after not providing a service you were paid to give, then forcing to go through another party which ultimately goes back to them, then when you go through that, they never respond. If this issue every gets resolved, im happy to move on and delete the review, but I can not recommend them at all with...

The staff is friendly and the food overall was good. The mac n cheese was good despite the cheese being really cheesy and I understand that some people like their mac n cheese really cheesy so no judgement there. The cream potatoes already came with the gravy so that's good and they pretty much tasted like average mashed potatoes and gravy and it's similar to Bojangles and Lee's. The biscuits were on top of this world I've never had a sweet biscuit before so that was my first time trying one. Definitely woulda went good with some jelly. The chicken was good and has a different flavor compared to KFC, Popeyes, Bojangles, and Lee's. The service was great and I've never been inside the restaurant itself but I'm giving the atmosphere a 5 out of 5

This churches chicken on Greensboro in tuscaloosa cooked and served spoil chicken. I ordered a 6pc two can dine on today, when I got to the window there was a smell coming out of it I wasn't sure but I thought something smells spoiled. So I got my food got home I was the first to start eating then when my boyfriend started eating he says what is that smell. So he smells the chicken and tells me to stop eating it's the chicken smelling like that. All if the six pieces where spoiled they had cooked the chicken spoiled. I can't believe it. When I took it back the manager was rude she acted like it wasn't that serious meanwhile I had to cough up all the food I had so in hopes that I didn't get sick.
