On Thursday 03/27/24 was my first visit to this restaurant. I was checking online to see who had good Chinese food in this area. I ran across New China Fun. I looked at the reviews and pictures and it looked like the style of chinese food I get back home, so I figured I would give it a try. I ordered the Shrimp Chow Mei Fun, to play it safe because nobody should be able to mess noodles up, lol. But, oh my goodness the shrimp chow mei fun was excellent and it tasted really really close to like home. I really enjoyed it, when I come back in town I will definitely be trying some of there other entries. We also tried the Philly cheese steak roll. Sorry, but this was not the good at all. It just tasted funny period. When I got there it was clean and the food that was cooking smelled good. Will definitely be returning.

The picture I added is the 2 cups of onions that I didn't know was going to be in my New China Fun curry chicken. This place is sub par. It's less than a half mile from our new house and I was VERY hopeful, but after two disappointing visits I'm very let down. The first time my Hunan chicken was edible but not great and my wife had stomach problems from her food. On my second visit I got a full 2 cups worth of straight onion in my curry chicken. I even asked the girl about the curry chicken last time and she didn't mention the copious onions. We probably won't be back unless we are really in need of a quick meal, but then again Bojangles, McDonald's and Wendy's are just down the hill. I don't recommend it.

I’ve been to probably 50-60 Chinese restaurants across the country and I can guarantee that this is the worst I’ve ever been to. I’ve got a curry chicken and boy I’ve paid 11 bucks just to get 2 pounds of onions dumped on my plate. While the chicken was fine, I’ve barely got any pieces. The rice is a joke - added a bunch of color and pale in taste. Also it seems like leftovers. The woman who took the order either does not want to be there or just did not care for my business.

I’ve been to probably 50-60 Chinese restaurants across the country and I can guarantee that this is the worst I’ve ever been to. I’ve got a curry chicken and boy I’ve paid 11 bucks just to get 2 pounds of onions dumped on my plate. While the chicken was fine, I’ve barely got any pieces. Daughter bought a large shrimp fried rice. $12.50 wasted!! No pretty rice like the photos- you know with the veggies - well this ain’t it!! It’s just bland rice with a few tiny shrimp. Soy sauce nor duck sauce could help it!! WONT BE GOING BACK!! Stopped going last year because of similar experience. But thought hey it’s been a while try them again- BAD DECISION!! prices going up, quality & portion size gone down- large amount of rice at least 1 dollar bags worth- shrimp- less than a toddlers hand full through out! I liked them so much when they were on University Blvd East-as for NOW, and think they’ve run their course. I’m DONE! Not even a fortune cookie- what do I recommend? Going to Another...
