Terrible. Drive thru line was at least a dozen cars so went inside. Stood at front counter with other guests for fifteen minutes bring ignored before I finally yelled enough to get a cashier to the counter. After ordering it took twenty minutes to get my ten pc fingers family pack. Back home over an hour after I left one large red beans and rice was almost all (90%) rice, which was either old and dry or not cooked but hard as rocks and not edible. Over large red beans and rice (I ordered two) was just the opposite = 90% beans, but they were also barely cooked, very very watery and unseasoned like they had been thinned out too much after setting out and getting dry. I only got eight fingers instead of ten. Turned out the spicy fingers I ordered were so bad however it didn't matter that they shorted me. The fingers seemed like they were several days out and maybe stuck in the microwave. Ss dry and tough as jerky. Not one member of my family could or would eat them. Also they were out of my two favorite dips, blackened ranch and Mardi gras mustard. We wound up eating the runny beans and the biscuits and throwing the rest of our thirty dollar meal away. That's something I just cannot afford. Also understand this is after last month when I went to the location nearer to me here in cottondale and also received wrong or inedible good (individual size sides instead of family size and bone in chicken instead of tenders). This time I went to the 'main' location hoping for better results and instead got even worse. So For me now there is no Popeyes in Tuscaloosa. No longer a choice. I'll not waste another cent there even though I used to truly love their food and turned to it for every special occasion. Just can't afford to throw money away for a distant memory of a restaurant we used to have. Lots of chicken places around and I find that foosacklys always delivers a delicious finger. Pricey yes but no more than Popeyes and at least here you can eat what you buy which is you know great. I do so miss my red beans and rice but I'm working on recipes at home from YouTube that get me pretty close. Here's hoping Popeyes offends enough customers to force closure so I'm no longer tempted to fall for their scam. Fingers crossed except for maybe one pointing...

I say that to say GET RID OF ALL THE MISERABLE, SAD, PATHETIC, LAZY, SORRY AND DISRESPECTFUL EMPLOYEEs. It's not my fault that they are mad with their LIFE. FIX YOUR LIFE and I promise things will get better. ✨️🙏🏾
The cashier that worked on February 19th 2025 at around 1pm needs to be fired. She was a heavy set woman with ORANGE HAIR, big at the top and small at the bottom to say the least. She was rude at the drive thur. They asked me to pull down and so I decided to go in and purchase another drink. That same cashier was also on the front line, with the same BAD STANKY ATTITUDE. After not accepting the reciept from her she drop the penny and made a DISRESPECTFUL remark and she also told the MANAGER that she(the employee) wasn't going to do anything else for me, the customer. 🤔 I just looked at the manager and I knew then, there ISNT A MANAGER. If the manager can't control the employee then I'm only left to believe that they definitely cant manage the restaurant. That employee should have been walked out but I understand every business is trying to hold on to their workers, but that's the same reason why I will never return to that location.
BTW I love the blackened...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars, I would. I took my family to Popeyes on yesterday to try the chicken sandwich for the first time. I ordered combos totaling $28. I paid for my items and asked for some sauce to go with it. The cashier refused to give me some, stating that I’m holding up her line and that it would be an add on item something that she can’t give me at the window. She stated that the only way I could get sauce would be to drive back around wait in line again and order 2 packs of sauce. With two dollars in my hand to pay for the sauce, I asked if I was hearing her correctly if I couldn’t get any sauce to go with my meal that I was holding up her line and the sauce would be an add on item that I would need to drive back around wait in line another 15 minutes and order sauce. I drove around to the door and saw people sitting inside so I opened the door. A manager approached me and said the lobby is closed. I looked around and realized it was all workers who were sitting around relaxing. I explained to her the situation she closed the door in my face and told me to go get back in line if I wanted to get any sauce to go with my food. She was quick to shove me away and get rid of me. I usually go to Popeyes twice a week, but I won’t...
