Tuscola Breakfast Place — Restaurant in Tuscola

There's not much to tell. The food is just average and ordinary. I had a rueben sandwich made with extremely thin slices of processed corned beef. It really looked like what my mom used to buy when I was a kid, you know, that packaged lunch meat garbage that came thinly sliced in a plastic zip bag. With that in mind, it was not worth the price. My wife had a hamburger that looked like a machine pressed frozen patty that comes in bulk in a plastic bag inside a cardboard box. For a place that gives the air of mom and pop, it's not, so don't go there expecting that. At best, it will keep you from dying of starvation short term. My food was warm (at best), and had a hair in it. The tea was old and rancid. Told the waitress she offered me another drink (that never came). They took my ham steak back, dumped the juice (where the hair was) then microwaved the ham, so when it came back it was dried up. Said I wanted a new order, was told the kitchen was closed. Asked for a manager (none there). Chocked down the dried up food, still no new drink after asking 3 more times. The waitress was very kind, the food had great flavor and didn’t take forever to come out which was a plus. Music played on low which is great because some places are too loud with background music lol. The inside had a clean look, very organized and updated. We had a good experience for our first time there. 😀
