This is a new place, I think this is the only location. This wasn’t good at all.
I went in there and was hoping to find a new poke place that would challenge my favorite one at The Marketplace. Prices were reasonable, but it’s no comparison.
The staff was cold and borderline rude. I can get past that easily, everybody has an off day once in a while. But when you’re new, at a new shopping center, you have to go the extra mile to make customers feel welcome and present your place as an inviting location.
As I went through the bar ordering my ingredients, I kept asking the lady to “please add more.” She huffed and puffed each time, to the point where I stopped and I just stared at her with an expression of “are you serious?” I asked for edamame beans, for example.
She added 4 of them and was ready to move on, I’m not joking, four edamame beans. I asked her to add more a few times and as you’ll see in the picture, it was hardly a serving. It could be because the place in general is cheap and they use tiny spoons, but everything was a struggle to order.
The sauce was watered down and flavorless. This was all for $14. I most likely will not be...
Read moreI love this place. BUT, the deal breaker is that they are now charging $O. 75 cents for a tiny, tiny amount of Sirachi sauce. New policy. I was so upset, that it was hard to enjoy my meal, and I only found out as I was checking out. This charge is unacceptable. I am hoping the owner is willing to be flexible and take that charge off the menu. I would be willing to give it another chance, if they do. Please take example from another pokie place. May I offer a suggestion Poke District in Orange gives plenty of sauce, and allows the customer to help themselves to sauce at a table, not depriving customer of enjoying their experience. If you want customers to enjoy the experience, please do not charge $ 0.75 for additional Sirachi sauce. Furthermore, I would love to be able to recommend others. The owner saw I was so upset, she handed me a sauce. But, if I have to worry about this fight every time I go, then I will probably avoid going because it's so uncomfortable. So, please I'm willing to come back if this is not an issue because I was actually loving coming here. This review might even help future business if owner is willing to...
Read moreThe staff was nice, but this is the last time I’ll be going. The first bowl I got was nothing special, and the entire thing was quite bland. Nothing seemed especially fresh, so I figured I would not return. I gave it a second chance today, and still wasn’t impressed. A basic bowl starts at about $11 and while there are some options to make it spicier, I was not impressed by the flavors in general. There are better poké places with better prices, and more...
