I've been to this place three times now. We tried the cemitas torta de asada. The bread is so good and the asada meat very tender. I'm very picky in meat but this place really uses good quality meat not fatty at all. The cemita also has an aioli sauce that's so delicious. My husband had the chorizo taco and buche taco and both were very good. Rajas con queso taco also very good. We also tried the asada papa and that was pretty good. I really liked the surf and turf taco, the shrimp was very tasty and the cheese cooked with it was delicious. Lastly we had the street corn and that aioli on it was so good. They sell the bang pina colada and orange whipped drinks. Both really good. I recommend this place and will definitely be back.
The prices for the tacos seem a little high but the quality of the carne asada is definitely worth it. Usually I won't order tacos at other places because I'm so picky on the meat but this place definitely worth the price of the tacos.
This place was very clean which is another thingI look for. Tables were cleared, floors clean and kitchen looked pretty clean too.
I recommend trying...
Read moreI haven't been to this place in over a year. Finally went yesterday and spent $50 on 3 chorizo tacos, one chicken taco, one carnitas mulita, fish taco, loaded nachos with carne asada. at the end I remembered why I stopped going here, the quality wasn't there. The food this time was not good. not just the taste but the quality. the only saving grace was the chorizo tacos. the carnitas were flavorless and mushy, the fish taco was alright, the chicken taco was meh. but the biggest offense was the loaded nachos especially cause of the carne asada. that had to be either the cheapest meat cooked by the most mediocre chef or i was purposely given only the fatty parts of the meat. it was again flavorless and pure fat. we didn't even finish them. i feel like a fool tipping them $5 too. will never go back to taco chico. over the years they lost their quality and still haven't...
Read moreOrdered their loaded fries, potato and chicken taquito, suadero and carnitas taco, and the cemita birria. $3.85 for a taco is bit expensive compared to other tacos that are usually $2 each. The flavors were just okay and a bit towards the chewier side. Their taquitos were crispy and their avocado crema complimented the flavors well. The cemita birria was just okay but PLEASE TRY THEIR LOADED FRIES. The way they cook their fries is just magical and it’s different. It’s light, crispy, and airy and everybody just went at the fries. If I were to come back, it’d only for their fries. I think getting tacos alone isn’t worth but their combos are reasonably priced. Service: The girl behind the cash register was so patient and friendly. I asked for recommendations and she told me what she liked. Everything was clean as well including the restrooms and...
