I have been coming here for a little over a month. We love the bartenders (Nate, Heather, and Rhiana). The previous manager was a sweetheart. Carissa got fired over a bad review. The GM is oblivious to customer service and the bar manager was unbelievably rude. My husband and I came in at 5pm to enjoy a few drinks and relax after our early dinner. What a mistake. Heather, our favorite was put in a situation that I can’t imagine anyone having to deal with. The bar manager never said a word to us. and seemed to think she was above all. We wanted to enjoy the evening with a couple glasses of wine, but that didn’t happen because she couldn’t acknowledge us. We were the only people at the bar/restaurant, so there was no excuse other than a power trip by bar manager. I could have wrote a review about the cardboard Shawarma, but I believe that we may have hit a lull in food and got leftovers. I could have written a review about witnessing the firing of an outstanding employee (Carissa) but I didn’t know the facts. However, I can’t stand back and witness the rudeness of a bar manager that put everyone on edge. I chose to go here knowing the prices were higher, but the atmosphere was worth it. Well, I guess I was wrong. I have worked customer service all my life and have never seen such abuse of good employees and dedicated customers. I would never allow my employees to be treated so poorly, nor would I ever treat my customers as Isabelle treated, of failed to treat us. Good luck in keeping this place alive. Read moreAbsolutely obsessed with Villa Haven Restaurant & Brews! This place is a gem—spacious, vibrant, and versatile. Whether you’re coming for the food, the drinks, or to catch a game, it delivers on all fronts. Their menu is impressively diverse, blending American comfort favorites with Mediterranean/Middle Eastern flair.
So far, I’ve tried the Asian wings, buffalo wings, calamari, hawawshi, pretzel with cheese, beef shawarma loaded fries, beef and chicken shawarma sandwiches, kofta plate, lamb chops, kunafa with Nutella, om ali, brownie sundae—the list goes on—and every single dish has hit the mark. I also loved the Mediterranean margarita and Strawberry Basil cocktail. The bar is super well-stocked and makes it a great spot for happy hour or game day.
The indoor space is massive and welcoming, but the patio is what really stood out—it gave me major Tulum or Sahel vibes, which makes sense once I spoke with the owner. He mentioned the name Villa Haven was inspired by El Gouna in Egypt, where many restaurants start with “Villa _,” and they’re aiming to bring that same Mediterranean ambiance to their space. They’re also planning to offer hookah soon, which is going to take the vibe to another level.
Love the energy, love the food, and love the vision. Villa Haven is definitely a...
Read moreI was genuinely looking forward to the opening of this new restaurant and truly hoped it would impress, but unfortunately, the experience fell flat. The children’s menu is significantly overpriced—$10 for a small portion of Kraft mac & cheese that lacked flavor, accompanied by a tiny serving of five fruit pieces. The kids’ cheeseburger was decent, but not worth more than $6.99.
I ordered the mixed grill plate for $34.99, which was underwhelming. The rice was subpar, and while the meat had some flavor, it was unremarkable and didn’t stand out in any meaningful way. We also tried the baba ghanoush, which was disappointing—it lacked depth and tasted more like bland, mashed tofu than the creamy, smoky dip it’s meant to be.
The two stars are solely for the staff, who were warm, attentive, and clearly trying to provide a good experience. However, the restaurant still has quite a few kinks to work out, particularly when it comes to food quality and pricing. Regrettably, it’s not a place I’ll be...
