If anyone knows me, they know how much I love Thai food. And if you really know me, you know that the pad see ew is the only thing that hits home for me every time.
I wanted to try this restaurant out because it was the closest one near my home that actually looked decent. (We tried Thai spice and that was a huge miss.) I ordered the ever so popular pad see ew with beef along with the Thai fried rice with beef.
Pad see ew - definitely full of flavor but a bit too overcooked on the pan. Tastes a little burnt but not to the point where I hate it
Thai fried rice - definitely delicious but an overwhelming amount of rice in comparison to the meat and vegetable ratio.
Overall, I did enjoy it and even though it’s a bit of a hole in the wall the food is delicious and the customer service is great. Seriously, I ask them for extra tomatoes on the fried rice and they pack it on like no other! The only reason why I docked one star was because for some reason they mixed up my order once and made my fried rice with lots of mint. The mint was so overpowering that I couldn’t even taste anything else in the dish which was a huge turn off.
Other than that, this is definitely worth trying out. The prices are fair and the taste is...
Read moreSutha Thai Kitchen in Tustin is a charming little gem for anyone craving authentic and delicious Thai food. This quaint spot offers a cozy dine-in experience with a few tables, perfect for a casual meal. They also offer convenient take-out, which is a great option for busy weeknights.
What truly sets Sutha Thai Kitchen apart is the friendly and efficient service. The staff is always welcoming and the food is prepared relatively quickly, so you won't be left waiting long. And when your food arrives, you certainly won't be disappointed by the generous portions. You definitely get your money's worth here.
I highly recommend trying their Pineapple Fried Rice. It's bursting with flavor and a perfect balance of sweet and savory. Honestly, though, I've tried several dishes on their menu, and everything has been consistently excellent. You really can't go wrong with anything you choose. Whether you're dining in or taking out, Sutha Thai Kitchen is a must-try for Thai...
Read moreTo be honest I have a lot of mixed feelings about Sutha Thai Kitchen. I love that its convenient but I do see a lot of negatives. But to start out with the positive they have a good variety of food, lunch specials and the staff is very nice.
But the bad? Something about the food just doesn't wow me, and my boyfriend feels the same way. I'm not sure if its the texture of the food or what, but we never finish our food here and its not somewhere we go if we can help it. Also its really not fun to dine-in, there is absolutely no air conditioning and the place is tiny so you can really feel the heat from the kitchen. You're also RIGHT next to the window with no shades so you feel like youre in the window of a retail store or something. Overall I want to like the place but something about it just doesn't sell me.
I do think the staff and presentation is lovely though, but I'd only recommend to-go if you're in the area and...
