It's bad enough that you get seven chicken strips for $15, but you purposely rip people off, by cutting the chicken strips into two or three pieces. They're the size of chicken nuggets. They're smaller than my roll. I know times are tough but ripping people off isn't the solution. If it was an accident, a coupon or refund would be fine, but this was done on purpose to cut costs on your end. You've lost another customer for life.

It smelled like rotten trash when I walked in. The smell is almost unbearable. The cashier was very friendly, the cook in the back said he didn’t want to start his fryers back up so the customers would have to wait 30 mins. 😳 very unprofessional talking about the customers and how much food they were needing that they needed to go somewhere else because he wasn’t doing it.

Typical yummy chicken express food. Sundays apparently super slowww though. 2 small orders and an extra side, took 15 minutes and we were the only customers outside of 2 vehicles in the drive thru. I personally prefer the lindale one but if you're patient you could do this jawn

Some of the sorriest service anywhere around. Employees act as if they would rather you go away. Slow moving employees as in lackadaisical. Customers do not have the option of refilling their own drink. Instead, the customer has to wait either in line @ the front counter to ask for an employee to refill their drink or wait for one of the slow moving unconcerned employees to show up @ the front counter to refill. I question the habits & sanitary work ethics of employees around the food & the ones preparing the food. I saw an employee scratching her head in the kitchen near the fried chicken. I like Chicken Express but this one is cruddy due to the mentioned issues. Our visit was on a Monday during early afternoon. Also, instead of the employee getting our initial drinks just after we paid for our order she made us wait until she took care of 3 other orders & I had to return to the counter to remind them. One of my sides was missing so I had to return to the counter a 2nd time to ask for it. After I was handed my missing side item I then had to ask for plastic ware so I could eat it. These employees do not have the customers orders in thought obviously. Our drinks were filled with too much ice & very little drink. The restrooms were fairly dirty as well. I won’t return to this one. In observation of the dynamics & ethics here, while we received very poor service an employee enjoyed handing out free food to a couple of small children who were with their parents. I’ve been to other Chicken Express’s that the employees care about efficiency & doing their job right. Some young men of college age came in just before we left & I saw them get poor service also. Top notch service is @ the Chicken Express in...

This is the 2nd time I tried the location on loop 323 in Tyler and was just as dissatisfied as the first, so I will not be giving it a 3rd try. I sat in the car hop bay and no one ever came on the speaker to take my order. If you are not using the car hop area then you should have a sign up saying so. I was not the only car waiting, there were 2 of us. After sitting there for 10 minutes I gave up and pulled around to the drive thru. When I pulled up there were 2 cars ahead of me and 1 behind me. After waiting another 5 or 6 minutes I finally got to the speaker to place my order I was told to wait a second and she would take my order. After waiting another 5 minutes she came on and I placed my order for the 2 thighs and fries special and a sweet tea. I then pulled around where there were several cars waiting in line to get their orders. I had to wait almost 25 minutes to finally get up to the window to pay and receive my food. While I was waiting for my change I could see what took so long. The employees were horseplaying around and not in the least bit worried that they had customers waiting on food. They didn't even care if these customers could hear them using the f word. I have been to many Chicken Express locations and have never had such terrible service and blatant disregard for customers. The chicken wasn't the greatest being only slightly warm and the fries were undercooked and not crispy. I can understand being busy because you have an enormous amount of customers but to have only 5 or so cars total at your food establishment it looks like you could give better service and 🔥 food. This location needs better management and employees who will...

Went through drive through and had to wait a bit at rush hour. Drove off and realized we were short on chicken. Turned around to see about the chicken shortage and honestly didn't expect much customer service at this time of day. I was blown away by the owner/manager. He greeted me as I walked in, asked what was wrong (since I was carrying my shorted order for them to check) and owned the problem. He explained they were super busy and they would love to make it right if I could wait just a couple of minutes for the chicken to finish cooking. He then offered me a gallon of their Amazing sweet tea as an apology for the wait. He spoke to and corrected the kitchen staff with understanding but firm corrections. He then made good on the order. Then he went way beyond with fresh rolls and French fries so mine weren't too cold when I got home, and extra chicken on top of the shortage. Amazing customer service and leadership. My only complaint now is that I failed to ask his name before I shook his hand to leave. This man will continue to be successful and I hope God continues to bless his works...
