Absolutely love this restaurant. The food is always amazing and served piping hot. Word of caution just be extremely careful when you grab your food especially if you have young children because it is super hot.
Don't forget to grab your free cup of Jucy's beans right there at the counter with the self-serve beverages. Their beans are absolutely delicious and taste really good poured over their french fries.
As far as beverages go, my go-to is their amazing sweet tea. Honestly, one of the top three sweet teas from any restaurant here in town. They also serve Coca-Cola products and there are endless choices to choose from. Want a Dr pepper? No problem. They have that plus Dr. Pepper with five other flavors. Want a Sprite? no problem. They have that too. Plus four or five other flavors to mix in with it. They have over a hundred drinks available for any taste buds.
Onto the food the regular burgers are humongous and always delicious according to my family. They're way too big for me to finish so I always end up getting a Junior burger which is just enough for me. You could have the burgers topped with lettuce, onions, tomatoes, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise. As far as the cheeseburgers go, they give you an option of three different types of cheeses to choose from. Their chicken strip basket is huge and the chicken strips are not like any regular fast food chicken strips. You can tell they are fresh made to order and the batter is always super crispy. Don't forget to grab some ranch because it is delicious. I absolutely love their fried green tomatoes. Must be a southern thing cuz you can't really find them all over the place. The ones here are always cooked perfectly crispy and go perfectly well with the ranch ranch dressing they serve on the side. They also have freshly made french fries. If you like your fries crispy then ask them to cook them a little bit longer because they don't cook them long enough for my taste.
And do not sleep on their salads. They are absolutely delicious no matter which one you get.
Honestly, if you can't find something to eat here that you like, there's something wrong with you because they have so many different options to choose from.
The only negative is that the dining area was really dirty. The tables were not wiped down, the floor had trash all over it and honestly it wasn't even that busy when we went there so it must be a problem with...
Read moreSo definitely the best burger place around east Texas. It really does not get better than this. Everything is freshly made and there are so many things to choose from. The burgers as they come are exactly how I like them and they are PERFECT!!! I always get the fried pickles or fried green tomatoes. I alternate each time as an appetizer. People say the prices can be high but this isn’t a fast food type burger even though they have a drive through. Really great sized burgers with great sides and plenty of ways to get full no matter what. Just a burger/fry combo will fill you up but add in any of the extras like the fried goodies and you have it made. I believe this is the newest Jucys around here and they don’t disappoint. Great location. The employees at this one as well as all others I’ve been to are fantastic!! The place is clean and comfortable. I can bet you that 99% of the menu is great all the time. I haven’t had every single thing there but I’ve had all the different burgers and sides. I know they have salads and I’m sure they are good but I go for the beef. Try it and enjoy. It’s the BEST!! Thanks! Update!! I help take care of an elderly woman named Helen who has only had y’all’s salad and beans so for her 86th birthday I got her a cheeseburger with the beans and onion rings. She’s never had fried pickles at any point in her life so of course I had to get those which she loved. And now she’s an all around Jucys fan. Thanks so much!! By the way she is in one of the pictures and not the one...
Read moreWhere I'm from we don't have Jucys, my Wife and I went too Tennessee for vacation, hurricane Ian bumped our flights back home so we kept our rent a car and road tripped it back seventeen and a half hours. By the time we got too Tyler I wanted a never ending beer and a really good burger. The lady at hotel told us that Jucys had beer, so we went there, I immediately knew they didn't have beer when we walked in, call it a sick sense or whatever you want, but my body and soul know when there is beer present, we walk up to the counter and look at the pictures on the menu and I told my Wife they don't have beer, she looked at me and said, but the burgers look sooo goood....... My brain agreed with her and my mouth said let's just get burgers, go get beer and then go back to the hotel . So we did and the burgers and french fries were really good. The Patty's were big and jucy and we were stuffed when we were done. I totally recommend getting yourself some Jucy's, if I lived closer to on It would be my go to. Oh yeah they had complementary beans also which really tamed my hunger...
