Schlotzsky's — Restaurant in Tyler

I’m reviewing for myself and on behalf of two other people who partook of what we ordered. I don’t know if the Beckham location in Tyler is under new management or hired a whole new crew, but they’re fabulous now. In the past year and a half my experiences at this location went from awful to wonderful. I’ve encountered the crew on duty tonight before. They are the kindest bunch of people, they treat each customer well and take care with each order.

It may sound silly when people talking about heart and care going into food, especially when it comes to a chain. But they’re pulling it off. Our food came out hot and perfect, tasted like it did back in the day. I thought I was remembering Schlotzky’s with nostalgia and simply built them up. Nope. There’s something about their bread that, when done with care, will always bring me back.

I eat here usually 4-5 times a month. Food is good service is ok. But today. I couldn't believe the treatment or the food. First I ordered the pick two. My every time order. Beef Smokecheesy and potato soup. I received a Beef and cheddar. No biggie she didn't hear me correctly. But when I tried to tell them that it was wrong she was rude and demanding. If it didn't have lettuce and pickle I would have just taken the beef and cheddar. Then after about 10 more minutes I got what I ordered. But they use the dried out tough ends of the meat that was hard to chew and did jot taste right. I guess they showed me. I will jot gone back here. Ever. Jersey Mikes...

It was okay... I got the original on a gluten free bun. Bun was good for being gluten free but there wasn't much meat or veg. I've had it on the original bread many times and it was great not just bc of the bread but the filling was great. I can no longer eat wheat(very allergic) but that doesn't mean they should skimp on the inside especially considering you get a big upcharge for changing the bun. I went there to eat after having a bad experience bc I just knew it'd lift my spirits... well it failed. I've had the gluten free one before and it was great. Idk if it was just this location or just one person doing a terrible job but it was a huge...
