so, i wasn't sure if i should write this review. let me start by saying, i'm very shocked that my spouse & i encountered this experience today at this Wendy's location of the Loop 323 in Tyler. upon arriving, the drive through line was full probably 10+ cars in one single line. given that, my spouse suggested we go inside to order as to not wait in a long line. we stepped inside & noticed several people wait who had more than likely ordered inside. we stood by the cash register for about 5-7 minutes. another lady came inside to stand behind us, also waiting. finally someone addressed us - the manager i'm assuming as her uniform differed from the rest of the staff there. she had blonde hair & was short (simply describing her since i wasn't able to catch her name since she didn't introduce herself) she immediately said, "front counter closed. not taking you all up here anymore." my spouse asked why, but she replied "don't want to." so we turned to head out the door. the woman who's good behind us was a black female, the manager was also a black female. she took the order of the woman behind us but directed us to leave - refusing service & refusing to take our order. my spouse is a mexican italian american, i am caucasian. i don't want to say i felt like this was race motivated but given the way she refused to take our order yet took the order of the customer behind us of similar racial background really made my stomach twist. i've never in my life treated anyone differently or refused service to someone because of the color of their skin but that's what happened today at this wendy's & i won't be...
Read moreQuaniece, quaniece , quaniece.....you made this harder than it needs to be. I needed two orders while in the drive thru. You told me you could only do 1 so I said do you want me to drive around the building and place my second order.....You said I will do it this time for you. I gave you my second order. When I got to the window you just stuck your hand out the window. I gave you my company card that will pay for 1 meal, I expected you to charge me for the first order like we agreed on just 10 seconds prior to the money exchange. You gave me my food and I thought that the first transaction was done. I waited for you to ask for the second orders payment but you hid behind the closed window making hand signals to me instead of opening the window and talking to me. You had to call the mod, and that was another cluster you created. She literally handed me $12.52 in cash and asked me for $12.52. I gave the money back to her confused of what was going on. I told her that I am on account and I needed the credit back on the card. She couldn't do that so through smoke and mirrors I ended up paying for a second meal with the refund I got from the first transaction. My head was spinning at this time but I just figured that some people with your customer service skills deserve to make minimum wage. Next time someone asks for two separate orders say "NO" and when they say should I drive around the building and get in line again for the second order say "yes". If you don't believe that she agreed to the second order review the drive...
Read moreOne night I was door dashing and a customer placed an order at this location. When I arrived there was a group of about 20 people there plus other customers. I waited and waited. The crowd was a little rowdy and I think there were only about 4 people working and with the chaos that was going on, they NEVER BROKE A SWEAT and got all of the customers orders out and they were all correct. Tonight, I went to this same location and ordered food in the drive through and when I bit into my burger, there was something that was long and white the was still in my burger. At first I thought that it was a string, but that wasn't it and I couldn't tell what it was. I took it back to inform and show them, even they didn't know what it was. The manager's eyes opened wide as she then realized that it was that thin film from the onion. I was good after I found out what it was but the manager still went above and beyond to make it right even though I told her that I was ok since she figured out what it was. One thing that I noticed is that, both times that I was at this location, the staff that she had working seemed like they wanted to be there and that they liked their job. You don't get that by being a terrible manager, so KT (the manager) keep up the fantastic work and I will definitely be back. The food was fantastic as well as everything and everyone else. This location I'm going to keep going to, passing the one that's muuuuch much closer to me. Thank you KT for displaying true...
