The food is all fantastic and the staff is equally good. The atmosphere is nothing special but certainly comfortable. Be prepared to spend 20+ per person, but also expect to have tasty food. You can get most dishes at spice levels 1-5. If you cannot handle spice, opt for 1. If you like a little spice, 2. If you usually like pretty spicy food but nothing crazy, 3. At 4 you will likely end up with an upset stomach, but it's worth it. The burn is pretty intense but not gonna kill ya. I have ordered the tandoori at 5 before. The entire restaurant INCLUDING the staff were all having a collective coughing fit as a result of the devilish level of spice coming off of that steaming chicken. It is absolutely incredible, and feels much akin to someone lighting gasoline on your tongue. Nonetheless it is delicious, and through the tears I genuinely adored the meal. I only recommend this for those who seek out spice challenges or have little to no reaction to spice. You WILL have an upset stomach for potentially a couple hours. However it is worth it and I'll absolutely be...

Authentic Flavors and Warm Hospitality – A Gem in Ukiah

We had the pleasure of dining at Taste of Nepal, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The restaurant offers a thoughtfully curated menu that blends the rich, aromatic spices of Indian and Nepalese cuisine with a level of care and authenticity that’s hard to come by.

The food was outstanding every dish was full of flavor, perfectly balanced, and freshly prepared. Their dal, momos, and vegetable curries were particular standouts. Portions were generous, and everything was served hot and promptly. We appreciated the range of vegetarian and vegan options as well, which were not only available but thoughtfully crafted.

The staff were warm, courteous, and attentive without being intrusive. The atmosphere was relaxed and clean, making it a comfortable spot for both quick lunches and relaxed dinners.

Whether you’re passing through Ukiah or a local resident, Taste of Nepal is absolutely worth a visit. It's rare to find a restaurant that delivers such consistent quality and service — highly...

Food was fantastic! We ate here for lunch today and ordered the Chicken Saag and the Tandoori Chicken, with Garlic Naan (amazing). The Saag is delicious, made with fresh spinach in the creamy sauce. Very flavorful. The Tandoori Chicken was wonderful! It's sort of like their version of fajitas, only better. I ordered the drumsticks and thigh meat with the vegetables. They bbq it in a 500 degree oven and it comes out sizzling just like a fajita plate. The server offered a couple of sauces to go with the dish, and I chose to try both. I loved them both! One was a chimichurri sauce (mint, cilantro, green sauce) and the other was a dark tamarind based sauce (sort of like a luxury version of a steak sauce). Our waiter was very helpful, conversational, and helped us make our choices. He was very accommodating to allow me to mix and match my meal so that I could try two things. Overall a...

Very bad food. Chowmein were just tumeric coated noodles with no lemon or vinegar or anything to cut through the power texture on noodle. Roti was the only good thing. Plain steamed Rice too. Raita was horrible, I have not been to a place in my life that has bad raita. I felt like puking after tasting it. Felt like polar plunge then lava plunge all at same time, yikes!!!! Service wise they were only two people taking orders and cooking too. They removed the two dishes from the bill hence two stars. Else we were self serving pretty much, passing on the plates and silverware, they just gave us a stack. Food also we were passing to the right person they just put at corner of table. Veg momo were useless, no flavor. Mutter paneer was super sweet, but out of all it was eatable.

Order Chicken Tikka Masala and Lamb Biryani both were horrible. I got sick from the Biryani. Called management to complain. Owner is cheap and refuses to take responsibility for his business. Accused me of trying to get a free meal in a pandemic. Sorry dude but I have plenty of receipts of other restaurants where I didn't have trouble. Over $500.00 in the last month. glad to spend and support local and professionally run restaurants. Oh and to be accused of being in some kind of alliance with the previous owners (there must have been some bad blood there) IS CRAZYTOWN! ALL I KNOW IS EL AZTECA NEXT DOOR WAS PACKED WITH HAPPY CUSTOMERS AND THIS PLACE HAD ONE CAR OUT IN FRONT ON A FRIDAY NIGHT DINNER SERVICE. PEACE OUT!

Oh my GOODNESS! Went here as a treat with my oldest (28yo) child for Mother's Day. It was Definitely a Treat! As soon as we walked up to the door and the incredible smell of Yummy food wafts out the door... I was on board! Tea was wonderful - not too hot, and the taste was a perfect blend of spices. The Naan was great! The rice was awesome. Main dish - #33! Amazing!!! Our server asked how spicy we wanted it. It's curry! It's going to have a "little" heat anyway. I opted out, although my child! Said on a scale from 1-5... a 1 should be good. I looked across the table a few bites in... my kid was sweating! Lo, I will Absolutely be going back and raving about this place to friends and family!
