I had watched this building change hands many times, ( Glup ) over my 50+ Years here in Ukiah Ca. it had become an undesirable place to shop. Years ago. I was not able to drink, due to Cancer, now 3 yrs later, I'm still tumer free. I wanted to to enjoy a sun set with a lovely cocktail to celebrate, I found that this store, was the closest to me, I live at the south end of my town now. Both of my favorite stores at the North end, closed years ago. So off we went to the 101 Market & Deli, i Ukiah. I was pleasantly surprised, it looked cleaned up, "must be new owners again?"was my first thought! Im only guessing that the gentleman behind the counter was an owner, His greeting, as we walked in, was so genuine, I was amazed by it. You don't expect that anymore, I had more fun at the, 101 market, South end in Ukiah ca. He not only walk me right to what I was looking he also segregated other drinks made from it, he kept us, my daughter in law and myself, entertained and laughing the entire time. He was not pushy or telling us we should choose a differant brand name, I felt respected about our our choices, never felt better in any liquor I've been in. But under stand, it is a regular store with a large selection of top shelf, to bottom shelf liquors. This place treated us like we were his best customers. And it was our first time in there. Unfortunately I do not remember his name, I do hope he is an owner of the 101 Market and is the first to read my review. It was a great day all together, it was more fun for me, than the coctails we enjoyed that night. I will be there often, to pick up what we need for the next BBQ, coming soon! BTW..... I mean food not liquor. I hope you take a break from driving while on vacation or even if you live here. So you too can exserance the kind of...
