My wife and I had lunch here on a Saturday. They were fairly busy. We were seated quickly and given menus along with chips and three kinds of dip (red, green, and refried beans). The red had a little heat which was nice to see. Often Mexican restaurants don't have a decent hot sauce. The green was mild. Our waitress was pleasant but messed up our order. Our appetizer arrived after our meal, which took about 30 minutes to be served. Kind of long for a Mexican restaurant. The food was generally good. Our appetizer was only OK (the super nachos). I had two enchiladas which were pretty good and my wife had a burrito that she liked but she thought it had too much chicken and not enough rice and beans. Their guacamole could have been better. It was OK, but seemed watered down like the beans. Overall, I would eat here again and try a few other things on the menu.

I am a repeat customer I am from out of town and I haven’t been here about two years. I left a review before, but felt like I needed to change it since I was dissatisfied with my enchiladas. I spent $21 on an enchilada plate. I got two enchiladas that were fairly small and a bunch of rice and beans. I expect more or at least another enchilada for $21. There was also a wet burrito that was a lot bigger and it was far cheaper. I probably will not come back and try a different establishment in Ukiah, but before this was my go to place. The flavors were extraordinary. The restaurant was clean and the outside was comfortable. The waitress was prompt and very polite. The salsa is amazing but they will charge you for it after you get you two cups. This place might be a great place just for lunch or a big burrito.

After have been trying so many Mexican place in the area I finally found the place I like the most. The service was super fast and attentive. The servers are really good at thier job. The menu was awesome wide variety to choose from also kids menu available here. Food was super tasty and fresh. Thier salsas are the bomb not just spicy but have such good flavor too. Must try margaritas which really good. The price was right I definitely recommend this place for every body. Honestly the parking was full even it was Monday night. It is nothing like normal.

Service and Food Best in town!! It was my husband's 65th birthday and he has wanted to try this restaurant for a long time. My daughter and son in law took us all there for his birthday. My daughter is vegetarian and ordered a vegetarian mole enchilada. They brought a chicken mole enchilada. They fixed the order quickly. The waitress was very nice about it. And the chips and All of the delicious sauces they bring out, OMG! Delicious!!. My son in law ordered guacamole...it was to die for!! We all got different dishes and they were all excellent!! My son got a burrito that he can eat on for days!! Last thing I have to say...I have been to quite a few restaurants and in all my years I have never had this happen...the waitress came over and said, the cook wanted to know if all of our food was okay??? What?? The cook actually gave a heck if we were happy with his cooking? OMG!! We were!! Best restaurant I have been to in a very long time!! We will definitely be back a...

They're fast, well priced, and have a great selection of food and drinks. Come for a margarita and stay for the tacos.

Let's just start with the basics: El Molcajete produces their corn tortillas in house so they come to your table not just hot, but fresh and fluffy too... no broken dry edges, just YUM.

Now the advanced stuff: if you have no allergy to shrimp my girlfriend highly suggests trying the signature dish, the Molcajete. It's comes with carne asada, shrimp, delicious edible cactus in a pleasing but mildly spicy sauce along with the traditional sides. They also have some good chicken mole, a little too sweet for me, but I love that earthy bitter chocolate flavor that many do not so I'm certain most will love it... just don't forget to order extra hot fresh tortillas!

Lastly their outdoor patio faces the Ukiah Airport so this is a great locale to patronage during our annual airshows instead of paying the high markup for carnival food served...
