My daughter is vegetarian and ordered a vegetarian mole enchilada. They brought a chicken mole enchilada. They fixed the order quickly. The waitress was very nice about it. And the chips and All of the delicious sauces they bring out, OMG! Delicious!!. My son in law ordered guacamole...it was to die for!! We all got different dishes and they were all excellent!! My son got a burrito that he can eat on for days!! Last thing I have to say...I have been to quite a few restaurants and in all my years I have never had this happen...the waitress came over and said, the cook wanted to know if all of our food was okay??? Let's just start with the basics: El Molcajete produces their corn tortillas in house so they come to your table not just hot, but fresh and fluffy too... no broken dry edges, just YUM.
Now the advanced stuff: if you have no allergy to shrimp my girlfriend highly suggests trying the signature dish, the Molcajete. Our appetizer was only OK (the super nachos). I had two enchiladas which were pretty good and my wife had a burrito that she liked but she thought it had too much chicken and not enough rice and beans. Their guacamole could have been better. It was OK, but seemed watered down like the beans.
Overall, I would eat here again and try a few other things...
